The house has a lovely view overlooking the fairway/green. The property has access to swimming pool within the community of El Olivar. There are local food stores and bar/restaurants available within walking distance. At the Golf Club there is a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy a nice evening at the Italian restaurant 'Casa Nostra' or at the English pub/restaurant 'Oliver's' just minutes away. You may also like to visit the Bonalba Spa with a great pool area! The 18-hole championship golf course is well-appreciated by all visitors and residents. The house is enclosed in a quiet and peaceful private community area with high security. The house is well-equipped for 6 people. Short distances to beaches and city. Only 20 minutes from the airport. Sit down and enjoy the sunset from the terrace in the lovely Spanish evenings!

Arrival/departure: Arrivals/departures out of working hours (0900-1700, daily) must be notified. Checkin is normally expected after 1400 hrs. Checkout is normally requested by 1100 hrs, due cleaning services.

Golf: Bonalba Golf A magnificent 18 hole, par 72 course measuring 6.367m from the back tees. Nestling in the Foothills of the Sierra de Bonalba, overlooking the Mediterranean, this course has some stunning scenery. You will encounter a variety of trees, lakes and bunkers strategically placed, and together with the large fast greens, this course is an attractive challenge for players of all handicaps. Facilities include a Golf Academy with qualified professional instruction and a large driving range including bunker practise green. The club also boasts an excellent clubhouse, with restaurant, bar, changing rooms, Pro-shop etc. Trolleys, buggy's, clubs etc, can all be hired.

Vi hadde en flott uke i deres hus sommeren 2008. Huset var rent ved ankomst. Huset passet for vår familie på 5. Flott med norske kanaler, slik at vi kunne følge med på nyheter og barnetv. Huset var hjemmekoselig, og hadde det vi trengte av hvitevarer og utstyr. Vi savnet en instruksjon på norsk/engelsk for vaskemaskin. Innholdsrikt kjøkken for oss som stort sett spiste hjemme.
Vi savnet også nøkkelen til verandadøren. Denne fikk vi ikke åpnet, og vi synes det var litt utrygt å sitte med hoveddøren åpen om kvelden når vi var på terassen.
Vi kom sent den første kvelden, og fikk overlevert nøkkelen av en sekuritasmann. Dette førte til at vi ikke fikk informasjon om Bonalba området og at vi kunne benyttet oss av Bonalba sitt flotte badeområdet gratis. Dette fikk vi greie på siste dagen. Det skulle ligget ved informsjon om dette i velkomstkonvolutten. Avhengig av bil både for å spille golf og for å handle/ut for å spise.
Owner's Response: English translation:
We had a wonderful week in your house in the summer of 2008. The house was clean and tidy on arrival and was well suited to our family of 5. Great with access to Norwegian TV-channels. We felt at home and had all the equipment we needed. We missed an instructions manual in English/Norwegian for the washing machine. Since we appreciate to make our meals at home, we found the kitchen well equipped.
We did not have a key to the terrace. We were not able to open the door, and felt a bit insecure to sit with the main door open in the evening while we were on the terrace.
We arrived late and received the keys from a night watchman. As a consequence of this we did not get information about the Bonalba area including information that we could access the Bonalba Spa pool area for free. This info came to our knowledge on the last day and should have been included in the welcome letter.
A car is necessary for going to golf courses and for groceries/eating out.

Owners comment:
English TV-channels are also available.
A key to the terrace door is and always has been available and the security level of the area is very high, so using the terrace in the evening is not a problem.
Unfortunately we cannot provide free access to the Spa pool area. This must be a misunderstanding.

we stayed at this property for ten days. it is ideally situated within the bonalba golf resort.the house was clean and comfortable with all the things needed for a pleasant stay.the house backs onto a lovely view of the thirteenth hole.the house has a bbq which we made good use of,we spent some lovely evenings on the patio watching the golfers go by.close by was a good size communal pool free of charge.a short drive and there is a pool and spa,for about 8 euros the pools and jacuzzi are available all day.there are a couple of shops and resturants where the food was very good.you can get a good drink upstairs at ollivers bar.we would recomend this house and the resortfor a relaxing holiday.

By giving the highest rate for my overall experience, I can give my recommendation for the house, location and area to everyone, my best friends included. The property was well maintained, clean with a well equipped kitchen for all kind of dishes and seperate room for laundry. Good space for activities out doors and in doors as well. The customer service was also of the best you can expect.

A paradise for golfers and all the others categories of interest mentioned in the list below.

This is just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed staying in your lovely house in Bonalba. We have had two super weeks there and will hopefully return in the future. The house could not have been better and the pool was lovely - and blissfully quiet even in August!

Lots of equipment in the house and peaceful view over golf course for dining out on the terrace.

Hope to return to this property again.
