This beautiful traditional two storey Spanish townhouse is tastefully furnished and decorated throughout to give a light and airy Mediterranean feel. There are 2 bedrooms , one double and two single beds. Full air-conditioning on first floor. Bathroom on first floor and shower room on ground floor. Lounge diner with oak beamed ceiling and tiled floor, equipped with satellite TV, DVD player. A beautiful marble stair leads to the first floor. A large sun balcony is accessed from bedroom 1 through sliding doors. A safe is installed in this bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster etc. Outside is a sunny tiled walled patio with off street parking. Gated and safe for children. An attractive resident’s swimming pool is just a few yards away. Supermarkets, shops & restaurants 100yards & the beautiful Carabassi beach is only 4mins drive. Alicante airport is a mere 10 min drive & Murcia airport 45 mins.

House is situated at Puerto Marino, Gran Alacant about 5 mins from Santa Pola which is a very old fishing port but also a lively seaside resort with beautiful beaches, promenades and numerous shops cafes bars & restaurants. Alicante city is only 20 mins drive which is a lively seaside resort and major shopping centre. Only 10mins drive or taxi ride from Alicante airport which is served by many of the budget airlines. Only 3 mins drive to Carabassi beach which delightful and unspoilt. Used mainly by the Spanish locals.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A free welcome pack will be provided to include wine,tea,coffee,milk,bread,ham,cheese etc which is especially useful for late arrivals. A security deposit of £100 is charged on all bookings. This will be held until confirmation is received from our property manager that the house is left in a tidy condition and no loss or damage has occurred. A refund will then be issued within 10 days from the completion of the rental period.
    A deposit of 25% of the combined total of the rental & the security deposit is required with your booking which will be provisionally held for 7 days until the deposit is received. Full payment is required with 6 weeks of departure. The only extra charge is a 45 euro cleaning charge which is payable locally, and is to be left on the dining table at end of your stay.

Notes: Whilst we have stated non smoking this refers to inside the property. We have no objections to smoking outside on the balcony or on the porch. As this is a two storey property although access is OK to ground floor there is a flight of stairs for access to the first floor and not really suitable for wheelchair bound.

Golf: El Plantio golf course is only 15mins drive away and is excellent to play on in the spring & autumn months.A further 5 challenging courses are within 40 mins by car

Waterparks: Aqualandia water park near Benidorm 45mins drive is well worth a visit with its excellant swimming pools, water flumes and sunsplash pools etc - a very good day out.

Just returned from our 2 week stay. Wonderful holiday. Fantastic villa with everything you could possibly need. We even had a visit from the owners a couple of times who happened to be staying at there other house. They made sure everything was ok and even went out of their way to help us find a local gym for my husband, couldn't ask for much better service!! We have been going to the same area for the last 4 years and still get the same pleasure from our visits. There are some lovely walks and plenty of bars and shops to visit. Can't wait until next time!! Linda & Mick 27/9/09
