Luxury country Villa with pool near Elche, Alicante Costa Blanca

Casa de paz (house of peace) is a very beautiful executive grade country villa , suitable for large family and friends , and for business groups.It is set in over 6000sq m. of its own private grounds with a large swimming pool. It has impressive palatial front gates, a long wide drive, with an orange grove, and many other fruit trees. The area is very flat with just three easy steps up to the large veranda and front door. The car park holds about 30 cars and can also be used for outside games. There is also a 70 foot long games room in the grounds which houses the table tennis and other sports equipment. Internally, the villa is furnished to a high standard with all facilities. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi and the second bathroom has aides for the elderly. The villa is completely flat throughout which makes it suitable for three generation family holidays! From the villa there is very easy access to the motorways ; the sea, mountains ,cities & golf are nearby.

The villa casa de paz is in Matola, Elche , Alicante , Costa Blanca Spain is just off the main road between Crevilente and Elche the cv 875. The motorway A7 going south to Torrevieca and north to Alicante is just 5 minutes from the villa. The mountains around Crevilente are just 15 minute drive and the beaches are 25 minute drive. The city of Elche is 6km away and is famous for its Palm trees and leather industry. There are several large hypermarkets within 10 minutes drive and local shops are just 15 minutes walk. To reach the villa you leave the motorway at junction 76 sign posted Crevilente station and join the road going to elche. This road passes through matola. Please check the roads on multimap. If you do not know this area we do recommend you book you flight times so that you can find the villa in the day light.

The normal change over day is Saturday. This can be negotiated especially in the low season - November to March. Please telephone 0044 1634 717989 to confirm availability quickly or wait for e mails to get through. Guests are required to vacate the villa by 10 am on the day of departure, to allow cleaning and preparation of the villa for new guests. However, if no new guests are expected then the villa manager may be able to allow more flexibility to the vacation time of the property. In the event when the new guests are arriving late that day you may be able to enjoy the outside facilities - by discretion of the villa manager.

Notes to the rental rates

  • The rental rates quoted are for up to 10 guests;above this a supplement of £70 a week for each extra person. Rental periods of more than 4 weeks from November to 1st April special rate of £300per week is on offer, this price includes all electricity and water usage; but you have to pay 12euros for gas cylinder.
    Please note there is 100euro additional charge for guests using 4 bedrooms and 120 euros for 5 bedrooms. This is paid to the villa manager on arrival if possible or asap. Maid service may be possible at10 euros per hour.
    Guests must vacate the villa by 10 am on the departure date if new guests are arriving that day or the following morning to allow the villa to be cleaned for the new guests, unless that day and night has been paid in the rental. How ever if you have permission from the villa manager you should be able to enjoy the facilities in the villa grounds up to 2 hours before the next set of guests are due to arrive.
    For rental purposes a day is defined as 8pm to 8a m
  • The changeover days are Saturday to Saturday during the peak season in July & August. Arrival after 4 pm, departure 10 am. Guests may arrive any day and depart any day that has been paid for. Villa manager will ask all guests for a deposit of 50€. for the key and remote control for the gate. This is refunded when the key and remote control are returned on departure. Also for up to 10 guests please pay 100€ to villa manager on arrival, and 120 euros if over 10 guests.
  • Jos the villa manager can collect 4 guests with small pieces of luggage from Alicante airport for about 40 euros.
    It is possible to get a bus from Alicante Airport into Elche and from Elche to Matola.
    A car is recommended, for your convenience.

There is no children’s safety barrier round the pool, so for peace of mind it is a good idea for small children to wear an inflatable jacket while playing. The villa grounds are very flat with only 3 easy steps up to the veranda and front door. Wheelchair ramps can be provided. There is a charge of 50 pounds for pets. There is a second Spanish style kitchen in the family room area with an indoor BBQ. There is also a large outdoor BBQ.There is a solar pool cover which allows the pool to be used most of the year .The master bedroom has a king size bed with lots of storage space while the fourth bedroom has twin beds with pull out beds underneath, suitable for children. The cot may be moved to whichever room it is required. There is a outdoors shower/ toilet and changing room. The empty gas cylinders can be exchanged for full cylinders at the cepsa petrol station for 12 euro

Entrance

As you enter the villa grounds there is a wide gate which can be operated by remote control or manually. The driveway is long and spacious and the car park is enormous allowing lots of space and freedom for children to play safely and securely in a totally enclosed environment. Nets are provided for volley ball, badminton and the lines are drawn over the car park area to play almost full length tennis. There is a covered parking bay. There is a very large games room next to the parking bay which houses the table tennis and other games equipment as well as inflatable for the pool. On either side of the driveway there are 2 plots suitable for children’s playing area and a double swing and sand pit is provided at the back of the villa. Welcome to matola ,algoda, elche, alicante, costa blanca.Enjoy one of the healthiest climates in the world-as voted by WHO -world health organisation.

Gardens and swimming pool

The plot is over 6000sq m. The orange grove has 67 orange trees. Guests are welcome to use the oranges which are in season from November to April and there is a large fruit juicer provided which can produce enormous amounts of orange juice very speedily. Other fruit trees include 10 olive trees, 2 pomegranates, figs, dates, almonds and lemons. There is an outdoor wet room and changing room. The swimming pool is maintained to a high standard and measures 12 meters by 6 meters and the deepest end measures 2 meters. There is no children’s safety barrier and guests must ensure children are supervised by an adult at all times. It is recommended children should have arm bands while playing around the pool. The safety of children and all holiday makers is the responsibility of the holiday guests. The owners can not accept any liability for slips, falls or other accidents. In any event the liability of the owners will never be more then the total cost of the holiday pro rata per person.

Beaches

There are many fine sandy beaches just 25 minute drive: Santa Pola, La Marina, Guadamar, Torrevieca and Alicante are just some of them.

Other Activities The beach is 25 minute drive with all facilities

Skiing Information:

The sierra Nevada ski resort is about 4 hour drive and is very popular in January and February. It is less busy on week days.

Golf Information:

There are about 5 golf courses within 20- 30minute drive from the villa : El Planto elche, Bonalba - near to the airport, Alicante , San juan near to beach,Rojales, La Finca....etc.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Villa it was very relaxing, The pool was kept in first class condition by Juan the pool and maintenance man.
The Games room was very usefull.
It was a good base for a Spanish holiday with good road links to Elche', Santa Pola, Alicante, Benidorm and Altea the Villa was clean and comfortable.The caretaker was very helpfull, the Paella cooked by one of the neighbours was exellent. I did find use of a car was necessary because of the location.
I think we will definetly be going there again.
