Altea is a province of Alicante, everywhere on the Costa Blanca is looked after and to maintain the character of each village, especially in Altea. Altea has one of the best preserved and very typical ancient city in the whole of the Mediterranean. As an old art village Altea offers a lot of culture, antiques, art handicraft. Art galleries, art studios, music school, open-air theatre, and exhibitions. Besides culture Altea offers also a lot of sporting activities. The sea and sports related to it are the main attractions. But also other kinds of sports are supplied; golf, tennis, sport fishing, diving school, hiking, basketball and pof course excursions. A visit to the old town with its church situated high on a hill, its steep and narrow lanes are full of silent places and remarkable details which makes the walk a pleasure, together with the many handicraft studios and little shops on the way. , The views when you reach the top is incomparable, looking down over Altea, out to sea.

Saturday is the changeover day, entry not before 4pm due to cleaners in 10am-4pm. on that day preparing for next group. Departure is 10am. Keys will be given by cleaners upon your arrival at the villa. A welcome pack is provide just in-case you are delayed or arrive late when shops are closed! You will need to telephone caretakers on your arrival at Alicante airport in order for them to arrange handover of keys if you are delayed, we shall also require flight times/details, to pass onto them to avoid any mishaps. SAFETY NOTES;Be very careful when using the trampoline, don’t want grandma bouncing off into the palm trees!And no wet feet inside the house due to marble floors.Children not to be left unattended whilst using pool area. Note: bookings are 7days min. Saturday-Saturday. In high season i.e. 10 /12 days would be charged as 14days USEFUL NOTE; There are 3 airports within a reasonable driving distance from the villa; Alicante,Murcia and Valencia the furthest@90 mins drive away.

Notes to the rental rates

  • Christmas, New Year and Easter, Half-term, are as high season prices. Prices are per week. Summary of sleeping accommodation;-ANNEXE ; 1 x family room with 1 double +2 single bed=4. MAIN house; - 2 double bedrooms +2 single rooms [1 as nursery leading off one of the double bedrooms which also has a cot] + sofa bed=6 TOTAL 10 PEOPLE. A daily /weekly cleaner can possibly be arranged at extra cost, please enquire. Airport pick-up can also be arranged, again at xtra cost which you will pay the driver direct. Security deposit is required in addition to booking deposit. The security deposit is against damage / extra cleaning /loss of keys and is refundable providing the villa is left as you find it and is normal procedure when renting self-catering properties.

We also have full air conditioning in most rooms, as well as cooling ceiling fans. The kitchen is FULLY fitted with dishwasher/wasing machine/fridge/oven/microwave.

There are 2 spacious double bedrooms , and 2 single bedrooms in the main house + cot. In the adjoining annex there is ; kitchen, shower rm/WC ,double bed room , sofa-bed in lounge=10. ( plus a folding bed if required for 1 small child).

Notes:

There are 8 steps up to the front door, and at the rear, into the garden and pool area, however once inside the house it is all on one level with the exception of the dining area where there is 1 step up onto a second level, but as the lounge and dining area are combined, there should be little difficulty with this being suitable for an elderly person, although there may be a problem with the marble tiled floors as with most Spanish villas. There are garden chairs of varying designs, some are full length sun loungers, others are uprights which can be altered to different sitting positions [You`ll have to be quick with the Towels First thing in the Morning if you want to Reserve a particular style]!!, there are also Sun Umbrellas for your use in the Garden, as well as fitted Sun Blinds on terrace at front of house, and at the annexe terrace. NEWLY INSTALLED 10`TRAMPOLINE,BETTER WATCH OUT FOR GRANDMA OR GRANDPA DONT WANT THEM BOUNCING OVER THE FENCE !!

Valencia,is an alternative airport to (Alicante,)and is a comfortable 90 minute driving distance . Full private use of lovely gardens ,pool, badminton court, mini-golf. 2 Restaurants close by WHICH YOU CAN WALK TO IN 5-10MINUTES. Other restaurants 10mins by car

Other Activities 10 mins by car. to beach/shops/restaurants. Theme parks 20mins.Benidorm 20mins
