Cumbre del Sol: This spectacular high coastal peninsula is also known as the 'Balcony of the Mediterranean' due to the panoramic views for miles in all directions. Reaching up to 300meters above sea level you can view the fishing boats and sea crafts which travel the coast line and further out in the distance the island of Ibiza. The coast is made up of dramatic cliffs, peppered with small coves and beaches. The Cumbre del Sol has local facilities including a bar, restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy, and private beach.
Locally within 10 minutes drive, Moraira is a charming up market town with a Yacht Marina, weekly market, fresh fish auction daily on teh sea front, safe sandy beaches and loads of restaurants & cafes to suit all tastes.No high rise here, the local mayor is keen to see Moraira retains its up market image.
Nearby El Portet is a beautiful cove with a safe sandy beach and beach side restaurants.
The larger towns of Javea and Denia with its historic castle and marina are only 20 minutes drive. Inland the Jalon valley and the Sierra Bernia mountains are wonderful places for walkers and those who want a change of scenery.
If its fun and thrills you seek then 30 minutes drive away is the Terra Mitica fun park, Aqualandia Waterpark, Benidorm with all its entertainments and the pretty towns of Altea and Villa Joyosa.
The chic city of Valencia is just over an hours easy drive, or why not take the train up the coast and enjoy the views.

There are some great golf courses in the area, 10 minutes to Javea Golf Club, 30 minutes to La Sella 18 hole par 72 and 3,035 meters which is attached to the 5 star Marriott Hotel resort offering top quality gym and spa facilities which are pre bookable to non residents.
The Oliva Nova Golf Club , designed by Seve Ballesteros is 35 minutes away and with 18 holes is par 72 and 7,051meters. The Ifach golf course on the coast is 9 holes but with spectacular setting, swimming pool and restaurant is a good alternative for a quick game!
