Café culture is alive and well. There are regular local fiestas, which brings Spanish history into life through a cacophony of music, fireworks and incredibly spectacular street parades. Pego provides at least three supermarkets and a weekly market. Oliva market on Friday well worth a visit. The local love of Tour de Espania is reflected in well laid out and safe cycle routes, all off the road. 2009 is Grand prix F1 in Valencia. Notes: Casa Diana is on a single floor, access is via a slight decline from the drive to the door. The Pool and Casa are on one level. The garden is accessed via several gated steps, Access to seperate terrace from living room and bedrooms one and two. (completion feb 2008) We provide pool and beach toys at the beginning of the season free of charge. All we ask is that if lost or damaged please replace for the next guest.Beach towels not provided however to save luggage space contact the owners for details of Beach Towel rental. Child’s cot and High chair provided FOC. Your comments on additional requirements that are appropriate would be gratefully received. A welcome pack is included to make late arrival more palatable. Linen and bedding are included in the cost of the stay, if you require a mid stay change of towels and bedding please contact us for details. Cleaning charge included at end of stay. However we would ask that you leave Casa Diana as you would like to find it.

Monte Pego: Monte Pego is a community of modern villas and appartments, on site security provides re assurance to all residents. The site has on the opposite side to Casa Diana, has a wonderfull cafe/bar (Bella Vista) where for a small charge you can access the Gymn facilities. In addition Wi Fi Free of charge is available at cafe. the coffeee and food is exceptionally good quality and value. We tend to use the Wi Fi there once a week just to keep up with any e mails, works perfectly. wi Fi can be used at our Villa but this is a commercial site that you will pick up when you switch your laptop on.

Winter Lets: Love to have the villa occupied so if you want a long winter let at a very reasonable price then just ring the owner or e mail.

Helpful Information: Book your flights as soon as the schedules are released to get the best prices. If Saturday travel is too expensive or stressful arrive Friday & take an airport hotel & do some city exploring (59e per room IBIS Valencia or Alicante) Contact us and we can sometimes locate on Monte Pego a one night B & B for you. If you wish a shopping service that covers your arrival let us know by e mail in advance what you want and we will arrange to get this for you, you will pay the shopping bill directly to our 'Happy Shopper' plus unfortunately there will be a €20 charge to keep the shopper 'happy!' To be honest you will be able to survive without this service as we leave a basic pack and encourage guests to keep cupboards well stocked. Local supermarket shopping centre open 7 days per week (Summer) 10 mins drive. Use the cool-boxes provided & take a picnic to the beach. Visit Aqualandia water theme park in Benidorm after 3pm for a reduced price & cooler experience.

Golf: Fantastic Golf Courses of world class standard can be played at a variety of courses, with the two nearest championship courses being within 10km. Club de Golf Oliva Nova: 18 holes, par 72, designed by Severiano Ballesteros. 10 min drive. Club de Golf 'La Sella': 18 holes, par 72, designed by Jose Maria Olazabal. 20 min drive. Campo de Golf El Saler: 18 holes, par 72, designed by Javier Arana. Voted 2nd best course in Europe by Golf World and has hosted several Spanish Opens. 60 min drive. There are also several other courses within easy reach of Monte Pego. If you are looking for noisy clubs, passing busses, british bars then Casa Diana is not for you. if you are looking for peace, relaxation easy access to beaches and towns, then book now.

This is a fantastic place to chill out and relax. The villa has everything you need and more! It is clean and user friendly with instructions for everything. It is a very straight forward drive from Alicante airport. There are lots of places to explore, or alternatively you can just stay at the villa and make full use of the pool, BBQ, music, tv, jigsaws, books and more. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes drive, and for those of you that arrive on a Sunday (as we did!) and find the shops shut, there is also a co-op petrol station again about 10 minutes away which will provide you with fresh bread and food till Monday morning!
A wonderful holiday, can't wait to return.

Owner's Response: Louise and Mike have booked twice this year and hopefully will book again, they have siad it all! During the summer months the local supermarket is open and stays open till late evening. as with all of our guests they are just that guests not customers.

An excellent retreat from 'real life'. Quiet, peaceful location with everything you could want, to relax . Extra touch to the lovely accommodation including food and drink in frdige on arrival really do make that extra difference. Very homely and have no hestitation in recommending. You do need a car and we found our sat nav very useful. We hope to return.

My review Villa Diana.
My overall experience on this rental property was Excellent,I found the description accurate in every detail, layout and amenities were spot on!, the best we've had so far.Iv'e already recommended this property to my friends,we tried the restaurants on site and were happy,the Chinese restaurant in Pego, I thought, was very good value also the nearest supermarket mercadona in Pego was only ten minutes away. Great views from the villa, loved the pool a good allround deal, and excellent contact with the owner.
Owner's Response: It was great having peter and family stay at our place, and they obvioussly love it as much as we do. Hopefully see them all back again.

Hi Cheyne and family,

Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday staying at
your villa, Thankyou so much for the lovely wines and for stocking up
the fridge and
cupboards for us. It was a lovely start to our week. We had perfect
weather and the pool was a delightful way to cool off. The sunsets were
amazing, we
took lots of photos. We loved the evenings watching all the lights
twinkling from the other villas in the distance. So relaxing. A week
is just not long enough.
Once again, thank you so much for all your help and advice in making our
holiday just perfect.
