Golf & Romance! Private villa with Very Private pool all set in fantastic position, surrounded by tropical gardens, gated private driveway. Very quiet & tucked away, yet front line to a challenging little golf course, with one the most magical views from it's terrace! Watch the sun go down over the fairways, then prepare an alfresco meal in the lovely outdoor kitchen, & take a glass of vino (or 2) from the private bar! This is our little slice of Paradise & to help with the mortgage we're opening it's doors to small,caring families & couples only to enjoy! Walk to shops, bars & restaurants, a lovely rocky cove or 2, or take the car (just a few mins) to the lovely beaches of Moraira & El Portet (the best kept secret on the Costas!). Our home has 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 with a 4-poster bed & en-suite shower room. The second bedroom is also a good size, & could take a cot or even 2. There is a family bathroom, living/dining room & glass conservatory & patio overlooking pool & golf course.

Ski: Only a half day Drive 4-6hrs to various ski areas...Andorra,Sierra Nevada & Baqueira eret.

Golf: La Cascada is front-line to Club de Golf Ifach's Nine Hole course. It overlooks the third fairway, yet is still very private, with no danger of stray golf balls or that golfers can invade the privacy of this romantic & secluded setting! The view from the golf-club terrace is breathtaking, on of the best in Europe with views to the Mediterranean and the Penon de Ifach. The Club house has a good bar, providing meals & snacks, there are tennis courts and a stunning communal pool for those that prefer company. La Micheta restaurant, bar & Barbecue is adjacent to the Club house & has occasional entertainment. (There are a number of excellent bars, restaurants & shops within walking distance of the villa). The course, although only 9 holes, is tricky & challenging even for an experienced golfer. Golf pro is available for the novice golfer. Access to the golf-course is usually good for visitors during the summer, when member's competitions take a break for the summer. Weekly & monthly green fees are available. (Handicap certificate required, unless taking lessons with the pro.) At least 10 other golf course with an hour or so, driving distance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'La Cascada' This wonderful, private & relaxing Villa made our precious two weeks...away from it all, very, very special.
We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace, watching the sun disappear, with a glass of wine....whilst contemplating our next 18 holes on the course the following day.
Very much looking forward to our next stay, thanks for sharing your special piece of paradise....!

This REALLY IS a little bit of paradise!

We travelled as a party of four and chose La Cascada because of the privacy the web-pages offered, the Moraira area having been recommended by friends. Both the area and the villa lived up to our expectations - and more!! A beautifully well maintined property, good sized private pool and location allowed the children hours and hours of swimming and dolphin-play with their flippers, giving us (as exhausted adults in need of a good break) the chance to thoroughly relax, read, sip drinks by the pool and live the dream for a couple of weeks.
The provision of lots of fans meant that we were able to keep cool enough at night and the ample outdoor seating areas meant that it was very easy to choose a sunny spot or stick to the shade throughout the day.
The owners, Tina and Pete made us REALLY welcome with a welcome bottle or two in the fridge, beautifully made up beds and loads of fluffy towels. They were on hand if needed throughout the stay and had taken lots of email time before we arrived to provide information and directions etc. so the whole holiday was stress-free from start to finish.
The fact the villa overlooks the golf course means that there are fabulous views from the terrace and in the evening the frogs and cicadas provide a peaceful background to the chink of ice in glasses... (you get the picture!)
The Moraira area is wonderful, we ate out alot in very diverse high quality restaurants. We preferred those nearer the villa to those in Moraira itself and would recommend El Pollo Loco, especially for a family of varied tastes and Thaiwan for a lovely Chinese / Japanese meal. Beaches locally offer swimming and we particularly enjoyed the snorkelling opportunities - fantastic seeing octopus clinging to the nooks and crannies in the shallow rock pools!
Days out locally (up to an hour or so drive) The Oceanographique acquarium in Valencia was wonderful and well worth the trip - it stays open late in the evening so you could avoid the heat of the day and go then (we didn't but should have done). Guadalest is beautiful and the mountainous drive up to it is a treat. The children enjoyed Fuente d'Algar though this was busier that we had anticipated; the highlight was jumping into the ice-cold water from the high board...
All in all we would thoroughly recommend the area and specifically La Cascada to anyone looking for a restful stress free holiday with a bit of luxury!
