Attractive villa in a lovely residential area of Playa Flamenca, with south facing sun terrace overlooking the shared swimming pool. Short walking distance from Playa Flamenca & Via Park commercial centres with a range of bars, restaurants and supermarkets, also in walking distance to the blue flag beaches of the Orihuela costa including La Zenia, Compoamor and Playa Flamenca. The property comprises of an open plan living/dining area, off the dining area is a fully fitted self-contained kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. The property offers 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin), one bathroom and one shower room, both have WC. Outside there are 3 areas, a lower terrace, an upper terrace overlooking the pool and a large private roof terrace with table and chairs and sun lounges, The villa has air conditioning in the lounge, and ceiling fans in all rooms. The property is just a few minutes walk from the lively Playa Flamenca Saturday market.

Additional information about rental rates

  • £100 deposit required to secure your booking. Check in from 4pm on date of arrival. Check out by 11am on day of departure. Early check in or late check out can be arranged subject to availability. A cleaning charge of €50 for 1 week, €75 for 2 weeks applies and is payable on arrival, this is common practice in Spain. There is also a £150 security deposit which will be returned within 7 days after departure.
  • Long term rental available from 22nd September till end of May 2008. Costs fully inclusive, electricity, water, etc. £400 PCM based on any 6 month period. £500 PCM based on any 3 month period. Please contact us with your requirements.

ideal getaway for any time of year...

We stayed here over Christmas with our two-year-old and had a wonderful time. The villa is in a safe, quiet and well-thought-out development, set a little back from the main sea-front activity, but still within walking distance of everything you could wish for - beaches, Saturday market, bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and several golf courses. We barbecued on the roof terrace (gets the sun beautifully, even in December!) and we enjoyed the large tv and dvd selections in the evenings. The kitchen is well-equipped and we had everything we needed during our stay. For larger families, having the two bathrooms makes it a more comfortable stay, and there is plenty of space for dining on the front terrace, or on the sun roof.
We found everything to be clean, tidy, and all of the owners' directions and instructions are helpful.
We enjoyed visiting the Villamartin Plaza for a stroll and lunch and to browse some shops, and there are lots of child-friendly restaurants there with kiddies menus.
La Zenia beach (closest to the villa) is easy to walk to or to drive, and is so clean and pretty, with a cafe right there. Perfect for families as it is a blue flag beach with shallow, crystal clear water. In high season there are probably lots of other activities nearby, but maybe for older kids (we spotted go-carting and a water park for high season).

July stay

We stayed at this villa in July 2009. It was well equipped and the DVD collection was fantastic. The pool was on our doorstep and was never too full. The commercial centre was a 15min walk away and had some great restaurants. You need to drive to the beach which was fine with us. We were unhappy with the air conditioning though, as it was only in the living room and did not extend to the bedrooms. It was on a motion detector so you could not leave it on for any length of time unless you were physically in the room. We went in July and expected to have air conditioning at night as it was very hot and impossible to sleep. The cleaning charge covers the cleanup after your stay but there is no cleaning carried out during your stay.
Owner's Response: The air conditioning is in the lounge, no 1 single air conditioning unit will cool an entire property. The motion detector has now been removed, it was installed to stop people leaving the air conditioning on all day while they are out (we had a number of holidaymakers who did this, resulting in huge electricity bills). We now operate a "Fair usage policy", so this is no longer required. A few simple steps do help to keep the rooms bearable & all rooms do have ceiling fans. The cleaning charge covers a full set of towels (2 per person) and full linen change once a week during your stay and the property is thoroughly cleaned after your departure. We appreciate all comments (good or bad) in the hope we can make staying in our property an enjoyable holiday.

well equipped villa

The villa was well equipped and my two teenage boys particularly liked the plasma tv and dvds. It was in a good position right opposite the pool. The roof terrace was great for a private area to sunbathe although got extremely hot at times! The only down side was that it was quite a long walk to the beach and uphill on the way back (25mins).
The booking process was very easy and the owner provided all the information we needed.
Overall we had a great holiday.
