Notes to the rental rates

• All rates quoted include Air-Conditioning, Electricity, SKY TV + BBC's, Video + Large collection of children's videos, Bed Linen, Hand Towels, Bath Towels, and are per week letting (i.e.7 days and 7 nights). Check-in from 4.00pm on date of arrival. Check-out by 12.00 noon on date of departure,- late departure can be arranged, subject to availability. Hopefully you will not need to use either, but for peace of mind, please ensure, that before you leave home, that you have full travel insurance, and also an E111 European Health Insurance Card, which is an entitlement to urgent medical benefits, if required, during a short-term stay in a member state of the EU.
  
• All reservations require a deposit of €150 plus €100 security deposit, which is refundable, and will be returned as soon as possible after satisfactory inspection of the villa, and the villa keys are returned. Settlement of account four weeks prior to arrival date. Payments in bank draft or cash in € or currency equivalent.
  
• All rates include VAT and service charges(i.e. Air-conditioning, electricity, water, heat, etc.)
  Some prepaid extra services are available on request : Pickup service to and from the airport. Food starter pack - Milk, Bread, Butter, Water, etc, for late arrivals. Twice weekly cleaning service. ( Contact villa owners to make arrangements ).

Local Information.

Playa Flamenca is unique, in that it can cater for many different types of holiday. You can enjoy a summer or winter break; a golfing or seaside break; a historic or maritime break, or perhaps a fun holiday with your children. You can play golf in a golfer's paradise, or relax on one of the many blue flag beaches. Drive west and enjoy the pine clad hillsides, the citrus orchards, the olive and almond groves, and the impressive palm trees that complete the lush landscape. There are 2 Aqua Parks close by - Quadad de Cuesada, suitable for small children, has a swimming pool, rapids and slides, and is reasonably priced. Torreveja, a 10 minutes drive away, is a beautiful Spanish town, boasting a marina, waterfront market, street entertainment, shops, numerous cafes, bistros, restaurants, bars, and a beautiful church square. The superb palm-lined promenade and harbour board-walk are the ideal places to go for that evening stroll. Other attractions include go-carting and the aqua park.

History.

The Orihuela region, with it's many museums, monuments, churches, and historic buildings, is well worth a visit. The old part of the town of Orihuela was declared a historic-artistic and monumental area in 1969. There are many noble buildings, six of which are declared Cultural Heritage. History is also in abundance in the nearby towns of Murcia and Cartagena. For the lovers of ecological and environmental tourism, you may like to visit the lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja, where you can enjoy a mudbath, recommended by doctors around the world for it's curative properties for a large number of rheumatic dermatological, heart and respiratory complaints.

Roof Top Solarium.

Summer holidays for most people are always action packed, but the odd day you may have an hour to spare. If so, slip into something cooler, bring a cold drink from the icebox, and head on up to the spacious rooftop solarium. Stretch out on one of the sun loungers ; let the worries of the world go by ; and soak up the brilliant Mediterranean sunshine. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your own little corner of paradise.

Playa Flamenca is every golfer's Mediterranean dream, with 3 beautiful championship courses of international prestige within a 10 minutes drive. Facilities include : Club Hire; Caddie Cart & Buggy Hire; Proshop; Restaurant; Driving Range & Putting Green. The fabulous Villamartin is a frequent venue for the Mediterranean Open. Campoamor, set amongst the palm and pine trees is a beauty to behold. Las Ramblas, another magnificent course, and a real test of golf. Within a 45 minutes drive, you can select from a total of 8 superb courses, each with it's own unique design, including the now famous La Manga and La Finca courses. All are challenging, but are most enjoyable to play.
