Punta Prima holiday villa

This was my first visit to the Costa Blanca with my husband teenage son and his friend for a May half term break, and whilst we were over there we decided to have a good look around the Costa Blanca and stayed over in Javea for most of the holiday and then travelled over Punta Prima just for a day and night.
I had seen many reviews of the Costa Blanca and it seems to cater for all tastes and different groups.
On arrival we were met by Lou the house manager who was very helpful and gave us a lot of advise about the villa and the attractions in the area.
Positives -
The villa itself was in a very good condition with a high standard of decor and was well maintained by the owner who also lives in the villa over the winter time. (Thankyou Dawn for your patience) It is set around a shared pool complex and was all very clean and for the money was very good value.
Negatives -
I would have liked to see surrounding area photographs on the website as i am sure potential renters would, this would have helped before travelling as i scoured the internet for reviews and information on the area but it mainly reviewed Torrevieja area.
We drove through Le Zenia and the nearby areas which looked very nice for a family break with plently of shops and restaraunts but Punta Prima seems to be vast and shared out along the coast. I personally did not like the area of the villa as it was part of 100s of villas and houses and it seemed to be where many English and Spanish live all year round.
There is a lot of building work in the area still in progress, as we approached the villa and housing complexes from the motorway we could see cranes and plant machinery on the outskirts of the area. (However this was not noisy and not near the villa) graffitti was over the walls as we approached which made us feel a little uneasy about our security.
Security - we were handed about 10 keys for the villa to unlock and lock different areas of the complex which made us feel secure but we were a little concerned why we needed so many.
A car is essential to really enjoy facilities on hand. without it you would be restricted to finding shops restaraunts etc...
Positives - As far as a short break away with a young family and a car this would not break the bank and as i said the villa and pool were of a high standard, although this was not for myself and family but everyone likes different things and wants different things from a holiday.
