Casa del Sol is a lovely property. The house has 3 double bedrooms,2 bathrooms and a comfortable lounge and dining area with a fully equipped modern kitchen. There’s a garden area, 1st floor terrace and a fantastic roof terrace for private sunbathing and those fantastic views. With south facing views the house as the sun from morning until the evening, for those who like the shade the garden terrace will provide a cool shaded area. The property has access to a very clean and sunny communal pool, which is behind the house approximately 10m. We are ideally situated with the sea view just behind the Villamartin golf centre , this is a must for golfers and their families. Only 10 min on foot and 2 by car you can be at the popular and well-established Villamartin Plaza where you will find numerous restaurants, bars, shops and banks. The sandy beaches at La Zenia and Cabo Roig are only a short distance by car and a must for all sun seekers.

Torrevieja is situated on the coast in the Southern Costa Blanca region. It is surrounded by two natural saltwater lagoons, which form the 'Salterns of Torrevieja' considered the biggest in Europe. Located just 47kms from Alicante (the provincial capital) with its international airport, & 35kms from San Javier international airport in Murcia, it is ideally located for a 2nd home/short breaks alike. Its climate is dry & equable throughout the year with over 300 days of sunshine. This region of Spain is rated by the World Health Organisation, as being the healthiest climate on the planet. Torrevieja was the home port of the largest fleet of sailing boats in the Mediterranean. Today the esteemed Real Club Nautico of Torrevieja & Puerto Deportivo Marina hold in excess of 1500 mooring places of high quality. Smaller marinas are dotted along the coastline (many within easy reach of the town). Among the opportunities for recreation, the town has easy access to some of the best golf courses.

  • Discounts available for long term lets.
  • A 20%non-refundable deposit is required min £100 to secure a booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. If booking falls within less than 8 weeks of arrival, then full payment will be required. CANCELLATION POLICY Up to 8 weeks of arrival date - no charge. 4-8 weeks before arrival - 50% of total payment refunded. 2 - 4 weeks before arrival - 25% of total payment refunded Less than 2 weeks before arrival- NO REFUND.
    The Client must obtain their own comprehensive insurance cover as the owner cannot be held responsible for injury, loss, damage, cancellations etc. However, in the event of cancellation by the owner then all monies will be refunded. The owner reserves the right to charge clients for damages, breakages or loss to the property caused by the clients. All information offered by the owner forms part of the booking conditions. Distances and descriptions are offered in good faith and theses terms and conditions apply to all bookings and the client is deemed accepted
  • A damage deposit of £150 is also required for all bookings. This is returned 1 week after rental period on notification from our key holder that the property has been left in a satisfactory condition.
    Special long term rentals: For rentals of 4 weeks or more we offer a great discounts also.

    Linen and limited towels are included. Beach towels not provided.
    There is a min. charge of 55 euros for cleaning and laundry cleaning after your departure any occupancy of more than 4 will be charged an extra 10 Euro per person. This is payable on arrival to our Key holder in euros.
    If this is no paid at this time then it will be deducted from the damage deposit which will then include a admin charge for sending to Spain.
    On day of arrival we request that arrival to property will be after 3pm and before 11am on day of departure. This may be flexible if not occupied on day of departure.

Notes: The villa is set on 3 floors. On the ground floor there is one bedroom and a shower room, which makes it accessible for the elderly or infirm, also on the ground floor there is a comfortable lounge with seating for 6 and a dinning area with seating for 6.The villa also has all English channels and sky package. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a full oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and tall fridge freezer. On the first floor there is a further 2 bedrooms which share a terrace and a bathroom with bath and shower. All bedrooms have fitted floor to ceiling wardrobes. The roof terrace as great views and is ideal for private sunbathing, as not over looked. Outside the property there is a garden which is paved and the terrace as shaded cover for those long sunny days. Our keyholder lives only a few minutes away and will be available for any help if you need her.

Golf Information : Villamartin is one of the finest golf courses on the whole of the Costa Blanca, having hosted the Spanish open in January 2000. The course is not too long (par 72 6,132 metres). It is laid out over rugged terrain with undulating and relatively wide fairways, but with very fast greens. It also features tennis facilities and the Clubhouse Bar and Restaurant is also open to non-golfers. Three other courses are a short drive away. Las Ramblas (par 72 5,770 metres) with its incredible water hazards, is the shortest of the three but features high tees, narrow fairways and ravines (take plenty of balls you will need them). Campoamor (par 71 5,830 metres) laid out over rolling hills, lush green fairways with many elevated tees. La Finca a spectacular brand new golf course. Only 90 minutes drive away is the famous course at Bonalba. Set in rolling valleys with an amazing outcrop of mountains on one side and the sparkling med on the other. The course is quite hilly, but not overly.

Villamartin: Approx. 45-50 mins. drive from Alicante or 30 mins. from Murcia airport based in South Costa Blanca. This region enjoys good year-round temperatures and has some of the cleanest beaches within Europe situated locally. There is a good motorway close by which enables the towns of Alicante, Cartagena, Murcia & Orihuela easy to explore for those looking for something else than just a beach holiday. Local horse riding stables are also within easy walking distance.

Beaches: The sandy beaches at La Zenia and Cabo Roig are only a short distance by car and are a must for all sun seekers. There are beach bars and restaurants. Volleyball and children's play areas plus those all important sun beds

Other Activities: Go-Carting, Lawn Bowls horse riding and fine cuisine all nearby

Summer 09 at Casa Del Sol

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing and comfortable two weeks at Casa Del Sol. The property is as described and was clean and presentable. The location is again as described about a 10 minute stroll to the lovely Villamartin Plaza which has a great selection of bars and restaurants for most tastes. 5 minutes the other way gets you to a family friendly bar and restaurant called Cheers. The property is on a road linking Villamartin with other urbanisations so there is some traffic that passes by but its not intrusive. There is off street parking at the front of the house.
The communal pool is only a short 60 second stroll from the property. The pool isn't the largest but neither did it get very busy (busy was about a dozen people) and for most of the time we were there we had about 4 or 5 people in or around the pool other than ourselves.
One small negative was the size of the roof top solarium which compared to a previous property we rented in the area was tiny. We actually never went up there after our initial investigation but preferred to sit out at the front of the property.
The property has air-conditioning for two bedrooms and the living area (the air con for the living area will provide relief for the third downstairs bedroom too, although we didn't use that bedroom). Given the time of year though I felt that the property was well insulated and even without the benefit of the air con it seemed to keep relatively cool.
I would certainly return to Casa Del Sol if the property was available and would recommend to friends. For the price I think its a great value property in a good location.

we(3 golfing blokes) rented this villa for 5 days in june 2008.the villa easily would sleep 6 was only a shortish walk from the bars and restaurants of villamartin .the villa was clean and comfortable the welcome pack ok(poor bottle of wine)easy to pick up and return the keys ,we would rerent without reservation.It does have sat tv but only 10 channels,and off road parking!
