Notes to the rental rates

• INCLUDES: Use of all facilities, pool, house towels, bed linen, all services (electricity, gas, etc), travel cot, stair gate, TV, etc.
  
• EXCLUDES: Cleaning (55 Euros + 10 Euros per guest payable on arrival, depending on number of guests), beach and pool towels.
  SPECIAL OFFER: Free cleaning for bookings of 2 or more weeks.
  
• TERMS: ?250 (E350) non-refundable deposit to be paid on booking, balance to be paid 8 weeks before start of holiday. Plus ?250 (E350) returnable security bond required (in the unlikely event of any breakages etc), which will be returned within 2 weeks of end of stay. Discounts negotiable for more than 2 weeks. Normal check in 6pm, check out 11am. Non smokers only. No pets. No bikes.

Accommodation and Facilities for the villa in Villamartin, Alicante - Costa Blanca, Spain

General:

An ideal holiday for the young family with the Aquopolis water park in Torrevieja. There is tennis at Villamartin, and Bowls at the Emerald Club. Down the coast is the beautiful Mar Menor inland sea. Ideal for watersports, and for taking in traditional 'old' Spain in the town of Santiago de Ribera. A little further down is the world famous La Manga Club with its amazing golf and leisure facilities. Nearby Torrevieja offers a yachting marina and many and varied restaurants and bars. A large Friday market and a good selection of shops. Also the famous mud baths are only a fifteen minute drive. Cartegena is about an hour away to the south and Alicante 45mins to the north, Orihuela 45mins inland.

Beaches:

There is a wide variety of top quality beaches, all awarded the EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness and safety, all within 5-15 minutes drive. The most famous of these is Guardamar Beach with its spectacular sand dunes covered with pines and eucalyptus. The setting is one of the most unique scenes in Valencia. Locally, the sandy beaches at La Zenia and Cabo Roig are a must for all sun seekers, with beach bars and restaurants, plus volleyball and children's play areas, and those all important sun beds. Most beaches have childrens play frames and equipment.

Winter Climate and weather:

There are very few rainy days between November and March, during which time you can expect blue skies and temperatures in the low to mid 20s (tee shirt and shorts weather!). According to the World Health Organisation this area of the Costa Blanca has got the healthiest climate in Europe, and is one of the healthiest places in the world to live. Asthma and rheumatism sufferers especially will notice the benefits.

3 superb golf courses, 1 of which is within walking distance: 1. Villamartin Golf Club. Championship par 72 course, opened in 1972, hosted 1984 Mediterranean Open and Spanish Open in January 2000. Classic, world-famous championship golf course. A 'must-play' course. 2. Campoamor Golf Club. .Par 72, opened 1989. Extremely Popular. Lovely restaurant with fantastic views. 3. Las Ramblas Golf Club. Par 72, opened in 1991. Arguably even more spectacular than Villamartin.
