Situated on the Costa Blanca near the costal village of La Zenia, 45 minutes from Alicante Airport, approximately 20 minutes from Murcia Airport and close to the A37 motorway. The newly furnished villa is in a secluded part of the established Verdemar II development, with easy access to local white sandy beaches; several of which, have been awarded the coveted blue flag status. 8km away is the lively fishing port of Torrevieja, with its impressive new promenade, marina and open air markets. A good road network provides easy access to the inland, picturesque mountainous region, with its quaint villages and the unusual turquoise reservoir. Water and theme parks, as well as tennis and horse riding are also available. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the three superb courses of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, all within 5 minutes drive from the villa, providing year round golf. The climate in this part of Spain is reported as being one of the most beneficial in Europe.

  • Rental rates vary: LOW SEASON (Jan, Feb, Mar, Nov & Dec) = £240; MID SEASON (April, May & Oct) = £300 and HIGH SEASON (June, July, Aug & Sept) = £360. These rates include supply of linen, towels, water, electricity. gas and cleaning. Please provide your own beach towels. A £100 per week deposit ( non-refundable ) secures the booking. Final balance and a security deposit of £50 against damage and breakages is due 4 weeks prior to departure and refundable within 10 days.

Notes:

The secluded rear garden with an integral barbeque, has the sun all day, but with shade provided by a palm tree and parasol. A rooftop solarium with panoramic views is accessed by an internal stairway and gives privacy for sunbathing. The private residents' pool is a 30 second walk from the villa along a tiled walkway, bordered by a beautiful stream with lush planting. It is set in a quiet spot with two pools of different depths, as well as a paddling pool for toddlers. All the tiled walkways around the villa are lit up at night, creating a safe, quiet area to stroll and relax. The whole interior is clean, newly decorated and well furnished. The lounge has three sofas, one of which, is a sofa bed. The kitchen, downstairs toilet and bathroom are all fully tiled, with the main bathroom having a bath/shower. Both bedrooms have twin beds which can be moved together to make into doubles if wished. Bed linen and towels are changed every week, but please bring your own beach towels.

Local Amenities

Although the villa is situated in a quiet, pleasant location there are lots of restaurants and bars and cafes offering a variety of cuisine within easy reach at Villamartin Plaza and the coastal village of La Zenia. Two well stocked supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, and a variety of other shops are also nearby. Several clean, white sandy beaches are a short drive away and there are local markets most days of the week somewhere in the area.

Other attractions

Slightly further afield but within easy driving distance are the cities of Alicante , Elche, Murcia and the towns of Torrevieja and Cartagena all have Moorish histories with galleries, museums and historical attractions. For the more energetic there are water and theme parks where the whole family can enjoy themselves as well as go-karting, horse riding, cinema and bowling.

Golf Information

The villa is ideally located for golf, being within 5 minutes of three superb courses of Villamartin, Campamor, and Las Rambles.
