Detached Villa with Private Swimming Pool

Casa Canela is a privately owned villa located in Villamartin on the Spanish Costa Blanca. This lovely detached house has 3 double bedrooms (one double bed, 2 x Twin Rooms), two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher/washing machine/microwave/tumble dryer and and has a private swimming pool. The property has also Satellite Television with DVD Player, Wi-Fi (Broadband) Internet access throughout, hot & cold air conditioning, and quality stereo. The villa is surrounded by 3 golf courses (within 3 minutes drive) and the beaches at La Zenia and Campoamor are approximately 5 minutes away. The Villa is about 40 minutes away from Alicante Airport and only 20 minutes from San Javier (Murcia) airport. The Plaza at Villamartin is about half a mile away and has numerous restaurants and bars together with a supermarket, hair-salon & Doctor’s surgery.

The residential housing in Villamartin was constructed surrounding the 18 hole golf course. Two other facilities, Campomoare and Las Ramblas were then developed and therefore the villa is within a few minutes of 3 alternative courses. The beaches at La Zenia and Campomoare are sandy, blue flag coastlines. The have all the usual water sport facilities plus beach bars and restaurants. They are about 5 minutes away from the villa.

Notes:

The house is single storey and therefore there are no slippery, marble stairs in the house. The garden is fully enclosed and partially laid to lawn. Although we do not discriminate against smokers, we would appreciate that it is confined to the porch area outside.

Booking

We request a £150 deposit per week to confirm the booking of the Villa where, upon the website, will be updated to indicate non-availability. Payment of the balance of the rental will be required 8 weeks before the holiday whereupon a pack will be sent out detailing key pick up, address and directions etc. The payment of the balance of rental should be accompanied by a £150 refundable deposit for breakages which will be returned after your holiday. The keys are retained locally to the villa. The holder will require 100 euros deposit for their return which includes a remote for a security alarm. Upon return of keys, 70 euros will be refunded, the remaining 30 will be retained for payment to cleaning services.

The Villa is surrounded by 3 superb golf courses and is within 20 minutes of a further 5 courses

the villa was more then we expected - the description given on the site is very accurate and it provided everything we needed, we didn't need to bring anything from england. it was very clean and set to a high standard - the area was very clean and the people we met at the bars were very friendly.
the only down fall on the holiday was the couple that looked after the villa for Joanne and Kerrie live right opposite the villa and felt were a bit interfering at times i.e we wanted the music on and they told us, it was Spainsh law that the music could not be on outside by the pool - later we found out by other british people that live there that we wern't told the truth and you can have the music on untill midnight but the minute we put it on he would come over and ask us to turn it down or off. he came over quite a few times for other reasons but we felt if hire out a villa you should be left to it and only go tot them if you need help with something. Apart from that we had a great time.

Owner's response:

We are really pleased that our guests enjoyed the villa but disappointed that they felt our 'agents' were too interfering. However, we have been told that there were several complaints about late and loud indian style music.
We have only ever had good reports about Derek and Janet' who keep the house immaculate and are extremely helpful with guest's enquiries.
