AIRPORTS / FLIGHTS:: AIRPORTS: There are two main airports in the Costa Blanca area and these are ALICANTE, which is just a 40 minute drive to the property and MURCIA, a smaller airport offering low budget flights, is just a 20 minute drive away. AIRLINES: Monarch/Globespan/Rynair/Easyjet/Jet2/BmiBaby offering budget and scheduled flights from Stansted, Gatwick, Luton, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Prestwick, Shannon, Dublin, Cork and other major European airports
TRANSFERS, CAR HIRE AND TAXIS: TRANSFERS: Airport transfers to and from both these airports can be provided at a low budget cost and transport to other locations can also be arranged during your holiday CAR HIRE: Should you wish to hire a car during your stay we may be able to arrange this for you, providing you give us ample notice. Charges for hired cars will be inclusive of airport transfers. Please enquire. TAXIS: We are able to provide a low budget taxi service during you stay.
BEACHES:: There are many beaches on the Orihuela Costa which have been awarded the blue flag in recognition of safety and cleanliness and you are walking distance to Campoamor, Cabo Roig, Levante and Cala Capitan, The beaches of La Zenia and Playa Flamenca and a little further. The beautiful Mar Menor coastline with stretches from San Pedro to La Manga is a 15 minute drive away. Alternatively heading north towards Alicante you will find the very attractive sandy beaches of Guardamar and La Marina.
Ski: Just like to say thanks for making our holiday a very nice one, we were happy with everything. The villa was lovely and we had no problems worrying about etting to and fromthe airport, thanks to you, in fact we did not want to come home. Thank yo very much. Golf: Just a short drive from the house are three superb golf courses. The championship golf course at Villa Martin, not for the faint hearted is Las Ramblas golf course which is considered to be ¨one of the most challenging in Spain¨ and Royal Campoamor which must be one the most stunning courses. . You can hire golf clubs at the golf course but will need to provide a handicap certificate. For further information on golf please enquire.
