This is our much loved residence, situated on the prestigious La Sella development. It is 15 minutes from the bustling port of Denia with its stylish shops, castle and beaches and 15 to 20 minutes from the beautiful resort of Javea with its historical ‘old’ town, sophisticated port area, and bustling Arenal beach. The property has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, two shower rooms, large lounge/dining area and an American style kitchen equipped to accommodate the most adventurous chef. It is stylishly decorated and equipped to a high standard. That equipment includes washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, TV, CD player. There is an open, wood burning fire, for those who wish to stay in Autumn and early Spring. Our ‘toy’ cupboard contains sun loungers, tennis rackets, and pool and beach games. The property has a small lawned garden, patio area and two balcony terraces which give a choice of sun or shade throughout the day.

What is there to do?: The nearest beach (with a bar, fabulous restaurant and beach sports) is only 12 minutes drive away. For the more active there are many walks from easy coastal stroles to a 6 hour hike though the Montgo national reserve. Then there is the Golf (obviously!). The house overlooks the La Sella Golf resort, plus there are 3 other course within 30 minutes drive. There is also top quality tennis club on La Sella with lessons given by the former Swiss Davis Cup team coach. Next to the tennis club is the riding school with escorted rides from one day to a couple of hours. There is also a brand new shopping mall just 10 minutes away with cinema, bowling, hypermarket and masses of retain outlets.

Where is there to go?: Within a 20 minute drive you have a huge variety of things to see. Javea has 3 completely different faces. The Arenal: beach with funky bars and restaurants and great shops. The Port: sophisticated bars and restaurants and the marina. The old town: traditional, with cool narrow streets and its fortified church. Denia is a 'real' town. It's a fishing port and ferry port to Ibiza and Majorca. It is very Spanish, busy all the year round with great bars, restaurants and beaches. For those who want to venture further a field, there is Valencia and Alicante (both with history, culture, shops and beaches). Nearer, there is Gandia, again with history and culture (the Palace of the Borgia's is well worth a visit), great shops and the best beach on the Valencia coast. A spectacular drive through the mountains can take you to Altea and the popular mountain village of Guadelest. There is also Benidorm, but who cares!

Eating out: Don't get me started! Real Spanish food of the highest quality, plus cuisine from all over the world. Cheap and cheerful to haute cuisine. Our guests will receive a comprehensive guide to all the restaurants we have tried and telephone numbers to enable you to book, where necessary.

We booked this pretty last minute but were delighted at the very reasonable price & excellent facilities Gordon & Sue offered A lovely property well thought out & beautifully clean. Great little extra's, the children (aged 9 & 7) loved the body board & lilo provided for the pool & made several friends (though the pool was never very busy). We enjoyed the sunbeds! Kitchen & barbeque more than adequate even for us who like to eat on the terrace with a bottle of lovely local wine. Gordon & Sue were extremely helpful prior to leaving with lots of very detailed info with directions & recommendations for food & places to visit. Thankyou for letting us use your villa for a great week.
