Air-Conditioning units have been installed in all bedrooms this year!! This spacious property is comfortably furnished, in a superb location within walking distance to the sea, supermarket, beach bars & restaurants. Very popular with families, offering quality accommodation for a superb family holiday. It is situated in a cul de sac on a quiet residential complex with, a lovely communal swimming pool, children’s pool & squash court. There are no roads to cross for children walking to the pool from the house. The property has the benefit of a small private grassed garden, ideal for outside dining and barbecues, and for children to play. BBC Prime TV is installed & also a DVD Player. A super new kitchen, new full bathroom and new shower room have recently been installed. Hire car can be arranged if required.

Sightseeing: There are many areas to explore which are not far away. A drive to the fortress (Guadalest) with narrow cobbled streets, shops, and wonderful views. Terra Mitica is our new Theme Park, really upmarket and a must for all the family. An evening pass is available in the Summer months at a reduced rate and is extremely good value. Aqualandia water park and Mundomar animal water park are also within easy reach. There are the Caves at Benidoleig and a Safari Park within easy driving distance.

Restaurants, Bars, Entertainment: Guests staying in this attractive property enjoy all the facilities that Javea has to offer, with its beautiful sandy beach, fringed with palm trees and lively bars and cafes. There is also the port area which is very cosmopolitan, again, with many good reasonably prices restaurants, many on the sea front. There is the old town of Javea, with its picturesque, narrow streets, tapas bars, indoor market, shops, museum etc. There are two attractive restaurants/bars just a short walk from this property. Guests with children find this very useful. The port fiestas during the summer months, such as the Moors and Christians are wonderful and not to be missed!

Golf Course: Golf Courses, Watersports, Bowling etc. There are several golf courses which have excellent driving ranges etc. La Sella is particularly good which is 18 holes, designed by a top golf pro. Javea is 9 holes at the moment, but will be extended to 18 holes in the near future. We have 2 excellent bowls clubs which are great meeting places, both having restaurant and bars. Watersports are available along the seafront between Javea Arenal Beach and the Port. These include windsurfing, jet skiing etc. Boats can also be hired from the canal next to the Arenal Beach.

We've spend 5 weeks in July-August in this house. We are 3 adults and 2 kids - 3 & 6 yrs old. Overall it was a great experince.

On arrival we were slightly disapointed finding that the house is split-level (bedrooms are upstairs) which wasn't clear from description at the time and we turned down other houses because of that.
We arrived after midnight and could do with a simple welcome pack.

That didn't spoil the overall imression as the house is of a very good quality, powerful aircons in each bedroom, private secluded garden, outstanding communal pools for all ages next door. The house is thoughtfully equipped with books (cooking books especially!), TV, DVDs, plenty of beach and pool toys/loungers/umbrellas. Some worries were about the stairs as top rail had too wide gaps between posts and we had to put suitcases to prevent our 3 year old from falling down.

We had car for 3 out of 5 weeks but only to drive around for interesting places, generally we didn't need it as everything is really close: 3 big supermarkets (including english one), beach - all within 10 min walk.
Walking for 20 minutes will bring you to two more beaches, town centre and high street with a lot of restaurants and good quality shops.

The closest beach is the best for kids and the most interesting for swimming with a mask. It needs beach shoes (not flip-flops) as it is a rocky one and has urchins. Further beaches are sandy but not as good as overcrowded and no fun like crabs/fish that kids adore.

Plenty of service on the sea from private boat hire (rather expensive) to regular routes to nearby towns. Tourist offices are very helpful. A few good places to drive to like caves, animal parks and truly amazing Oceanografica in Valencia. Dolpinarium in Benidorm is more of a hassle than fun.

Caretaker of the house is brilliant. All questions were sorted quickly and advise given.

It was a divine holiday and we miss this time.
