A detached villa with sea views, heated swim spa pool, jacuzzi, five bedrooms (4 double), large double living room, two bathrooms and large dining kitchen generous terraces and garden. It is set in pine trees in the Granadella Nature Park, yet only 400 metres from the beach and Tavernas. It faces south with views of the Mediterranean sea, the valley and the cliffs. There is a double garage and a large BBQ. There are fine walks from the doorstep over the cliffs and up the valley. A relaxed rustic undeveloped location for all year round sailing, swimming, walking, tennis, golf, mountain biking or just sunbathing and eating out. An ideal location for self catering summer and winter holidays.

The villa is in Granadella Bay in the Granadella nature park. It is 400m from the beach and the Mediterranean sea. There are sea views from the villa from both floors. It is near Javea (Xabia) on the Costa Blanca half way between Alicante and Valencia. Both airports are about 1hr 20mins. drive away. There are 3 tavernas open in the season and one open most of the year. There is no other commercial development. There are great walks over the clif tops, up the dry river valleys and around the surrounding hills. Great to get away from it all. The bay is safe for swimming, snorkelling, diving and sailing and has a launching ramp for power boats.

The bay has the European Blue flag and is safe for swimming, snorkelling, diving, etc. There are 3 taverns open in the high season, but no hotels, shops or discos. Nearest supermarket is about 3 miles away. Javea town is about 5 miles. A car is essential. Javea old town, fishing port, yacht marina and beach are delightful. There are two golf courses locally one private and one municipal and a wide variety of restaurants. The location is probably unique on the Spanish mediterranean coast being in a nature reserve 400m from the beach, with sea views, little development and mountain and valley walks from the doorstep.

We had a wonderful holiday here. The villa is set in the most enviable position overlooking Granadella bay. It was literally a 2 minute walk down to the sea front; however the beach is pebbled and not sandy but the water is the clearest we have ever seen. Perfect for snorkelling and swimming. The villa itself actually sleeps 9 within 5 bedrooms and is fully equipped for every need. Although not airconditioned, it has plenty of opening doors to allow air through with mosquito netted louvre blinds behind.
The villa can seem quite isolated as Granadella is very small and approximately 20mins drive from the nearest town, Javea so a car is essential!
The swimming pool is a large spa/jacuzzi type which is perfect for those long evenings with a glass of bubbly but not so good for small children. As it is quite deep with no sloping gradient, small feet can't touch the bottom from the moment they enter the water. Having said that, it would be fine for those aged 7 and over.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable time here and would definitely recommend staying here as we too will be returning. The rental was absolutely seamless. Keys were forwarded well in advance along with comprehensive directions and guides for the villa and surrounding area.

Das war bis jetzt unser schönstes und geräumigstes Haus das wir gemietet hatten. Die Umgebung ist herrlich, das Haus ist ruhig gelegen. Vom Haus aus sieht man den Strand (Steinstrand), den man in 3 Min. zu Fuß erreicht. Das Wasser ist glasklar, meine Jungs haben dort das Schnorcheln für sich entdeckt. Dieses Jahr wurde zusätzlich ein Pool am Haus errichtet, welchen wir leider letztes Jahr nicht ausprobieren konnten. Man kann sich auch am Haus prima die Zeit vertreiben, es kann dort auch gegrillt werden. Ein Außengrill ist vorhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
