Holidays in Alicante

I`ve stayed in this property twice, once with the family, and on the second occasion for a short break with my wife, while the children were away on school trips. It has everthing you could want when on holiday, has a comfortable feel, and is conveniently located for the airport, and ideal for both couples or families.
Our first trip was in August 2007, and we were very pleased with the standard of the accommodation and its locality. Having 3 bathrooms is extremely convenient, when coming back from the beach or trying to get ready to go out, and its extremely well placed for Exploring, Beaches, shopping in the local markets, and generally relaxing around the pools. There are a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance, and Gran Alacant is ideally situated for exploring the area via the coast road the N332. We hired a car, but this is not essential, unless you plan on exploring the area, rather than just relaxing around the pools and on the local Carabassi beach. Myself and my wife are in our 50`s and we have daughters who are 18 & 14, and there was plenty to do for all of us. I believe it would be equally suitable for those with younger families.
The kitchen is well equipped should you wish to prepare your own meals, but the local bars & restaurants are excellent value, and its virtually as cheap to eat out all the time. We generally only made breakfast in the morning, then had the rest of our meals out, as this was more convenient.
Our most recent visit was in Februray 2008, when myself and my wife went on our own for a short break. The weather was excellent, and we had a really great break, and escaped the cold weather in the UK.
Myself and my wife are now sold on both the accommodation and the general area, and will I`m sure be going back in the future, as it provides everything we are looking for as a holiday location and somewhere to relax.
