Altea is a beautiful Spanish town, which nestles on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. There is an attractive seafront harbour and marina, together with a plentiful supply of shops banks, restaurants and cafes etc. Nearby is Benidorm, which can be reached by car, bus, or train. You can enjoy a panoramic trip through the mountains to the medieval fortress of Guadalest, second most visit tourist attraction in Spain, dropping by the way past to the Algar Falls (waterfalls).Close by the villa there is an attractive golf course Don Cayo. In Altea there is a newly built cultural centre Altea Palau, where there is a large choice of performance of ballet, theatre and orchestra. There is a good selection of beaches of all types, including nudist bathing.
