Detached Villa is a rustic Castillian style home in its own garden, with authentic wooden beams & tiled floors. It is situated in a well established, quiet residential area, & nestles at the foot of the Sierra Bernia mountains. It is complete with very nice big swimming pool and patio's area around it. Nearby there is the village of Altea la Vella (walking distance from the Villa) which has supermarkets, banks, restaurants, bar's, etc. Altea is 5 km. away and is renowned for its artists, & is the cultural centre of the Costa Blanca. There is a plentiful supply of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops etc. There is also the famous Moorish church of Altea with the bleu dome perched at the top of the town, with amazing views below to the sea & the marina. There is a large weekly Tuesday market at the rear of the town. In the surrounding area there is the new theme park; Terra Mitica, also new Safari Park Terra Natura, Water Park, the beautiful Algar falls.

Altea is a beautiful Spanish town, which nestles on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. There is an attractive seafront harbour and marina, together with a plentiful supply of shops banks, restaurants and cafes etc. Nearby is Benidorm, which can be reached by car, bus, or train. You can enjoy a panoramic trip through the mountains to the medieval fortress of Guadalest, second most visit tourist attraction in Spain, dropping by the way past to the Algar Falls (waterfalls).Close by the villa there is an attractive golf course Don Cayo. In Altea there is a newly built cultural centre Altea Palau, where there is a large choice of performance of ballet, theatre and orchestra. There is a good selection of beaches of all types, including nudist bathing.

Wij zijn (Jan en Lidia) hier geweest in de periode van 28 maart tot 9 mei 2009.
De villa bevindt zich op een rustige urbanisatie.
De villa is voorzien van alle gemakken.
Joop en Veronica zijn goede en behulpzame verhuurders.Wij hebben er erg genoten.
Een auto is noodzakelijk gezien de ligging van de villa.
