A proper 'seaside-holiday' villa

This is how seaside-holiday villas should be: no flashy furniture, no silly ornaments, no horrible glazed-in naya. Just a good solid simple villa, furnished to deal with the onslaught of sandy kids coming back from the (very lovely) beach. A basic but not cramped, kitchen (note: no microwave), a lovely open naya with enough space to seat everyone around the table to eat in the shade enjoying the lovely view to the front, a spacious, not-overlooked plot of garden and terrace to the rear and side, and a really good-sized and super clean pool. All very private and pleasant
The location is peaceful, in an area of considerably posher villas than this one - all obviously individually owned. Pleasant walking distance to the beach, good restaurants and the supermarket one way and the wonderful Les Bassetes marina and Restaurant Timon up over the hill the other way. Like much in La Fustera, you do have to cross the main road to get to the beach and to the marina, but there is 40kmh speed limit here and the crossing points from this villa are both located where you don't have to walk along that road at all.
Our only suggestion for improvement was that the rear terrace, which has a nice built-in barbecue could do with better exterior lighting - we couldn't see our food, gave up and ate on the front terrace. Future guests might like to bring camping lanterns!
