Villa Las Aves - absolutely beautiful, tranquil & superbly appointed

This stunning cottage has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard and is situate on a hilltop well away from any roads but within a few minutes drive from the historic town of Benissa. The house has wonderful views of the Mediterranean and the Sierra Bernia mountains. The villa sleeps four in two double-bedded rooms each with its own bathroom (one bathroom, basin & loo - the other with shower, basin & loo). The new swimming pool is almost directly below the cottage - just a few steps away - and it is for the exclusive use of clients (it is not overlooked). The pool area is supported with BBQ and garden/pool furniture. Table and seating (terrace also) for six or more; the views are magnificent and inside cooking facilities are supported by a garden (charcoal) barbecue. For lunchtimes there is a large sun umbrella and in the evenings there is romantic lighting. The owners live nearby and are not intrusive at all.

Notes to the rental rates

• Changeover day is Tuesday (but we try to be flexible out of the main season). Water, gas, electricity are included. Rental deposit of approx. one third due on signature of agreement; balance due 6 weeks before arrival. There is a returnable security deposit (£250/350 depending on length of stay) payable with the rental balance. Nominal laundry charge of Euro 8.00 pp/per week and single contribution to final cleaning of Euro 45.00. Only in winter is the electricity, for heating, metered and charged at cost.
  
• Cot and high-chair can be hired (at €18 and €12 per week, respectively). These must be booked in advance.

The Villa Las Aves is a secluded and peaceful holiday home surrounded by terraced vineyards and fruit orchards and at the end of a long private drive. The glorious beaches of Moraira and Calpe are barely 20 minutes away as are countless smaller beaches. Benissa is an attractive typical Spanish town with a bustling open-air Saturday market. Benissa has a narrow gauge railway running to Denia in the north and Alicante in the south - this is the famous single-track LIMON EXPRESS. A restaurant listing is provided to clients (we now have 9 Michelin stars in the immediate area). A car is essential (very special competitive car-hire rates are available to us via the region's No.1 company - please ask for tariffs before booking). The property is available for winter letting with electric (oil radiators) - meter read and charged at cost. Linen (except beach towels) is supplied and changed weekly. The property is owner-controlled at all times.

Golf & other features :

The villa is also ideally placed for golf - the nearest, Jávea GC. is less than 20 minutes away. A 9-hole course, which is more difficult than it looks, has superb views of the 'landmark' mountain, Montgó, dominating Jávea (Green fees approx. Euros 65). Towards Denia (c.15 minutes) is La Sella GC, a beautiful 18-hole course. Further afield (c.30 minutes) new course at Oliva (18-hole, designed by Seve Ballesteros) and just south of Valencia, the famous 18-hole championship links course at El Saler. The theme park TERRA MITICA is within easy motoring distance (a short hop down the A7 motorway) as are the excellent Aqualandia (swim-park; website available on request) and MundoMar (dolphins) outside Benidorm. The fabulous new Science & Oceanographic (5000 different fish) parks at Valencia make a spectacular day's outing.
