Excursions:
For an alternative day out you can visit Benidorm (about 30 mins drive south towards Alicante) and one of its' main theme parks is Terra Mitica (similar to Disneyworld) which is open all year round. Aqualandia Water Park is great fun as is Mundomar Marine Park with its' parrots, dolphins & seals being the star attractions. Great family days out (if you can tear yourself away from relaxing by the villa pool!) An hour's drive north of our villa is Spain's 3rd largest city - Valencia. Well worth a visit if you like combining history, architecture and shopping! Another beautiful natural place to visit is Fonts de l'Algar (falls of the River Algar) - natural waterfalls situated about 16km behind the Benidorm coast, high in the Sierras. You can bathe in the crystal clear waters and listen to the enchanting sound of the falls. Take a picnic and enjoy! Visit the Vergal Safari Park in Denia or see the largest Palm Forest in Europe at Elche. Lots of beautiful photo/video opportunities!
Swimming and sport:
Casa Latina has a kidney shaped private pool measuring 10m x 5m with fabulous sea views.
Additionally, if you, or anyone in your party, is a 'serious' swimmer there is a very large communal pool just 2 minutes up the road also available to our guests free of charge. It is hardly used and is in excellent condition and only available to a small number of villas on our development.
Benitachell has a highly regarded bowling greens club and would welcome players from the UK.
Horse riding is available on Cumbre del Sol and is well sign-posted on the development.
There is an excellent Go-Kart track on the outskirts of Moraira -open to the public all year round.
Various watersports are available in Moraira, Javea & Denia.
Entertainment:
Casa Latina has a Playstation 1 games console with a separate monitor and a few games available to play on.
There is a dvd player in the first living room - please take your favourite dvd's as we provide a limited selection.
There are 2 cd players - one in each living room - with a selection of cd's.
The television has sky digital and can receive some British channels eg SKY News
There is a bookcase in the 2nd living room with a selection of paperbacks to read. There are also some board games available for the family to play together.
Golf:
Golfers Paradise!! There are some beautiful golf courses on the Costa Blanca, 3 of them are within very easy reach of our villa. Club de Golf Ifach Moraira (9 holes) Club de Golf Javea (9 holes) Club de Golf la Sella (18 holes). Green Fees start from approx 21 euros. Affordable villa rental rates available and suits both golfers and non-golfers as there's plenty to do in the surrounding area.
