VillaBabar lies within the established 'Los Calistros' urbanization on the outskirts of Benitachell and enjoys fabulous views across the valley to Mount Montgo (known locally as Elephant Mountain). Just ten minutes by car from the seaside towns of Moraira and Javea at the northern end of the Costa Blanca in Spain, the villa is the perfect base from which to explore all that the surrounding area has to offer and is also ideal if you simply want to chill out and enjoy some peace and tranquillity. Accommodation (all on the one level, making VillaBabar particularly suitable for wheelchair users) comprises: open plan living/dining room with a modern 'real flame' gas fire; fully fitted kitchen; large master bedroom with fitted wardrobes king size, double bed, ensuite bathroom, and French windows opening out onto the terrace and swimming pool (8m x 4m with Roman steps) beyond; twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes; & Shower Room. Central heating for the winter, multi speed fans for the summer

Are you looking for a long term winter rental with the flexibility of additional accommodation available only as and when required* for visiting friends/family? *minimum rental periods of one week. Or are there simply five or six of you in your party, meaning that you could not, before now, consider VillaBabar as your holiday choice? We are delighted to be able to offer our new garden apartment - luxurious, fully self-contained, open plan accommodation for a maximum of two people only and comprising living area; fitted kitchen; twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes; and shower room with walk-in shower cabinet. N.B. The apartment is only available with VillaBabar and so cannot be rented on its own.

The Costa Blanca, on Spain's eastern mediterranean coast, is an ideal holiday destination whatever the time of year. There are gloriously golden beaches and numerous coves & bays to be found along the coast, while just a short distance inland the scenery is rugged and spectacular. Although just thirty minutes or so up the motorway from Benidorm, the area round Moraira - Benitachell - Javea/Xabia is a world away from the bright lights, disco bars and high rise hotels to be found there. It offers an ideal holiday retreat for those who simply want to relax, 'chill out', or soak up the rays while at the same time being an ideal base from which to explore what the region has to offer.

Moraira: The Moraira and Javea area of the Costa Blanca is known for its unspoiled beauty and excellent beaches. The area claims the best climate of continental Europe and is an ideal year round holiday destination. There are excellent local beaches, ideal for snorkelling, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet-skiing or just sunbathing. There are several golf courses within easy reach, and other leisure facilities include tennis, squash, football, boat hire and trips, horse riding, go-kart racing and several good night clubs. Just thirty minutes drive from Moraira are the lively resort of Benidorm and Terra Mitica, the internationally acclaimed theme park.

Getting about: VillaBabar is a one hour drive from Alicante airport and approx. one and a half hours from Valencia. Road connections are very good. There are a number of taxi companies, and a narrow gauge railway, with regular services, runs along the coast from Denia down to Alicante. However, a car is pretty much essential to enable you to get the most from your holiday,
