Luxury 6 bedroom villa and apartment set in tropical gardens offering stunning sea/mountain views with 8x4m pool and patio areas. Split into 3 levels. The main villa has 4 air conditioned bedrooms. The upper floor has a master bedroom with king size water bed, own private roof terrace, a separate dressing area and en-suite facilities with a jacuzzi bath. This is connected to the main floor by a curved marble staircase. On the main floor are 3 further bedrooms,1 includes a 4 poster bed with en suite, 1 has its own balcony. Open plan lounge with air conditioning, dining room with air conditioning, kitchen with American fridge/freezer providing ice and chilled water & 5 ringed gas hob, 1 shower room. On this level is a 40m2 balcony with 2 BBQs, hot plate, fridge, sun awning and teak table, chairs. There is also a separate self-contained apartment with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, lounge, shower room and its own BBQ area. WiFi/ADSL connection. Very high standard throughout. Ample Parking.

Calpe is a large, but traditional Spanish town that boasts many excellent shops, beaches, restaurants and bars. The Penon de Ifach is now a nature reserve with salt flats, unique vegetation, flamingos and a migrant bird population. The peak of the rock can be reached up a zigzagging track, which overlooks the working fish port and yacht harbour. Calpe also boasts two blue flag beaches, which offer extensive water sports facilities in high season. As well as the modern town, Calpe has a typically Spanish old town, which offers an excellent range of traditional bars and restaurants. There are many surrounding towns within an hours drive, all well worth a visit - Moraira, Altea, Javea and Benissa are a must - as is the beautifully preserved medieval village of Guadalest up in the mountains. Whether you want a quiet holiday or a fun-packed one there is something for everyone in and around Calpe.

  • Alicante airport is an easy 45 min drive. Valencia airport is an easy 60 min drive. Murcia airport is an easy 1¼ hour drive. Detailed directions of how to get to us and key handover information is given at the time of booking. Car hire is available at all airports or a taxi costs around 90 euros (from Alicante). Collection to and from the airport can be arranged. Once at the villa a car is not essential but to explore the area one is recommended, there is a supermarket within 2 mins walk.

Stove has 5 rings and the fridge freezer is an American appliance with full ice and water dispensing facilities. Internet access available via WiFi & network cable. Beach and pool towels not provided. Smoking only on terraces. The grounds are extensive (1050m2) and incorporate a citrus orchard (which for safety reasons is private) and small children will require supervision. The Upper BBQ area, overlooking the pool has 2 BBQ's, hot plate, 3m teak table, 10 teak chairs and large sun awning. The huge pool patio is complete with sun loungers and a pool shower - 11 sun loungers plus 2 patio tables and 14 patio chairs.. The floodlit pool is 8x4m.

Entertainment: Whether you want a quiet holiday or a fun-packed one, there is something for everyone in and around Calpe - the Disney Style Terra Mitica theme park at Benidorm (just 30 minutes away by car), Aqualandia Water Park, and the Mundomar Exotic Animal and Marine Park. There are Safari Parks at Aitana and Vergel, Waterfalls at Bolulla, Caves at Benidoleig and Canalobre. For superb international shows with dinner the renowned Benidorm Palace and the Casino Mediterráneo at Villajoyosa are not to be missed.

Calpe - Leisure Activities: Port les Basetes is about 2 kilometres along a nice coastal path from the North end of Calpe's Levante (East) beach; it is also only a 5 minute drive from the Villa. It is an outstanding centre for water sports - especially diving, fishing, sailing, water skiing and wind surfing. Tennis is available at the Calpe Club de Tenis at 2 kms from the Villa. There are also many opportunities for both the lazy and the adventurous walker - either reaching the top of the Penon or walking round or up the Sierra de Olta could be interesting. Just inland is the Montgo National Park which has numerous walking opportunities from the easy to the severe - all with splendid scenery and views.

Golfing Information: There are 8 excellent courses in a radius of half an hour from the villa & many more in an 1 hour radius. There is a selection of both 9 & 18 hole courses nearby ranging from the wide fairways of Javea to the narrow fairways of Benissa Ifach to the natural relief of Altea Don Cayo. Further afield you have the challenging championship courses at the Nicklaus designed 18 hole courses (long and short) at Real de Faula Benidorm, the Olazabal designed La Sella 18 hole course between Javea and Denia, and the Ballesteros designed 18 hole course at Oliva Nova.
