The property is quite private, being fully enclosed by walls and hedges, and features a large terrace with a large sun awning by the 10X5 pool that enjoys all day sun. On the first floor facing the pool is a naya and from this you enter the spacious lounge/dining room and the American kitchen. • From November to April the electricity and gas usage is a chargeable extra and the metered usage will be deducted from the refundable £200 security deposit. Final clean charge £75. 25% deposit payable upon the initial booking with the final balance (and security deposit) payable not less than 10 weeks before the start of the rental period.

Denia & Javea

Dénia is a coastal city located to the north of the province of Alicante and has a 20-kilometre coastline, made of small, beautiful coves. To the north there are the fine sandy beaches of Les Marines and Les Bovetes and the shingle beaches of Les Deveses and L' Almadrava beaches, which are craggy and rocky; to the south is the Les Rotes beach. Though the beaches are long, they are not enormous and generally appeal to family-type tourism. A picturesque town 15 minutes drive from the villa, Javea has much to offer. Spread out over a large area, there are coves to discover, cultural and historical sites and wonderful walks. The town is divided into three distinct sections. There is the old town, with its narrow cobbled streets and its monuments of Spanish history and culture. The port area is still a working fishing port and is a delightful place to visit with its mixture of fish markets and seafront bars and cafes.

Local Tourist Attractions

Benidorm is 45 minutes drive away from the villa. This well known resort offers attractions such as Aqualandia Waterpark, Terra Mittica Theme Park and Mundomar Exotic Sealife Park. The terrain of the Montgo and Jalon valleys provide the perfect environment for mountain biking and walking. The stunning waterfalls at the Fonts d'Algar are a 30 minute drive from the villa. The area also has a superb camp site and several restaurants and cafes. Valencia is an hour away by car or an hour and half by train from Gandia (30 minutes from the villa). Enjoy a day of shopping around the variety of markets and boutiques or simply spend the day exploring the city and its museums. Ibiza and Majorca are both just a short ferry ride away with crossings leaving Denia harbour daily.

Golfing Information

The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is 20 minutes drive inland near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 18 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Within 30 minutes drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course has 18 holes, is par 72 and 7,051 metres. Going south overlooking Benidorm you have the two new Real de Faula championship courses which are very highly recommended - one par 72 championship and one par 62 eighteen hole tester! There are a number of 9 hole course also in the area - varying from the spectacular high coastal scenery of Altea Don Cayo to the relatively flat but quite challenging Javea Golf Club.
