Denia, is an attractive castle town set in an area described by the World Health Organisation as 'one of the healthiest living environments in the world'. The town has a wealth of good quality shops, bars and restaurants offering a wide range of international and Spanish cuisine. There are regular local fiestas when the town bursts into a riot of music, fireworks and spectacular street parades. There's the busy seafront, with its many bars and nightlife, and the bustling fishing and ferry port, where you can catch a boat to any of the Balearic Islands. The traditional Spanish towns of Orba, Oliva and Pego also lie close by.
