Newly remodelled villa, 142 m2 floor area, fenced garden 600m2, 2 secure parking spaces. The villa is located on a private street, in the exclusive suburban area of Las Rotas, only 2km from downtown Dénia. The sandy beach is 100 meters from the house; the yacht harbor, supermarkets, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Several golf and tennis courses are nearby. The house is surrounded by single family villas in a very quiet location. The house is equipped with central heating, all household items, refrigerator, washing machine, TV, ironing board, kitchen utensils, household and bedroom linens. A sun terrace is located in front of the house, and a shady sitting area behind. Garden furniture available. Private heated whirl pool in garden.

From downtown Dénia take the Dénia- Javea road past the harbor. 1 km past the Hotel Port Dénia turn left into a small private street, Carrer de Fobos. If you come to the circle where one road goes to Las Rotas and the other towards Javea, you have gone too far. Turn back at the circle towards Dénia and after 150 meters turn right into Carrer de Fobos. The rental villa is the third house. The owner lives in the second house.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Special promotions are available. Please call owners at 0034.96.578.8624. Long term rentals at reduced rates are available by arrangement. Rentals are usually from Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise discussed with owner. 30% of rental is due within 10 days of receipt of rental agreement, the rest six weeks before start of rental. If you do not keep these dates, we reserve the right to rent the property to anybody else.
    Heating costs are extra.
  • Security deposit: € 250 must be paid at the beginning of the rental period. The deposit will be returned, after the inventory has been checked, the keys returned, and if there is no damage to the property. At the beginning of the rental period a mandatory € 100 will be charged for end cleaning.

General information:: The Swiss/American owners of the rental property live next door. They speak German, English, French and Spanish. They have lived in Dénia for 14 years and can advise you on restaurants, activities, sports, shopping etc.

Sports:: Several excellent golf courses and tennis courts are nearby. The yacht harbor offers many water connected activities. Boats of any size, with or without crew, can be chartered. The nearby Montgo Natural Preserve invites you for hiking tours. Riding stables nearby: they offer lessons, day rides and even overnight rides.

Restaurants: Dénia is the gastronomical capital of the Costa Blanca. It offers dozens of restaurants with an international cuisine: Spanish, Italian, French, German, Swiss, Dutch, Chinese, Indonesian and others. Here you can find the traditional Paella, fish that has been caught that same day, tapas of any kind. And naturally everything with a good bottle of Spanish wine. When you go to a typical Spanish restaurant, you have to be aware that lunch time starts at 1:30 PM and lasts until 4 PM, and dinner starts at 9 PM. Other restaurants serve lunch starting at Noon and dinner after 6 PM. If in doubt, call the restaurant beforehand. Also many restaurant need a reservation.

Much more wonderful than I expected!

I stayed here with my two children in November 2006. We had a wonderful time. While the villa is west of the downtown area, its in easy walking distance of restaurants and markets. We were able to walk each morning to get fresh breads for breakfast, which was wonderful. We were able to sit outdoors and hear the waves of the mediterranean, which was very relaxing. Ove and Lolita were very helpful, showing us places they thought we would enjoy with our children. We all had a wonderful time at Casa Atilol. The beds were comfortable, the property was clean and very well maintained. The fruit trees in the yard had fruit we could pick and eat. We had all the accessories we could want (ie dishes, kitchen utensils, linen and towels, soap) and made frequent use of the washer that wasn't mentioned in the rental listing. I've heard since our visit, a spa was installed, which we would have loved!
