DENIA is in the north of the Alicante district near to the Mediterranean coast & Segaria mountains. It lies almost mid-way between Valencia and Alicante airports (just 60 minutes by car) & has sandy beaches stretching Miles. DENIA offers a relaxed holiday location with a backdrop of mountains, unspoilt and uncrowded beaches (awarded the European Blue Flag ) stretching for 20 kilometres . This is a cosmopolitan town, with a rich history and culture and its streets are filled with a variety of architecture . The old fisherman's quarter of Denia offers cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings with a nearby yacht Marina and Ferry Terminal. Denia has great Tapas bars, a wide range of restaurants that offer excellent seafood, regional & international cuisine. An impressive 16th century Castle dominates Denia.
