Denia attractions:
Denia is the nearest main town & has the greatest choice of shops, restaurants, cafes & beaches. The town is very easy to walk around & parking is free. The shops are mainly boutique style & well priced for shoes & clothes. The outdoor market days are Monday & Thursday, indoor fruit & veg market every day & in summer an outdoor arty style market is on every night, fish market every evening where you can watch the fish being unloaded from the boats straight onto the stalls.
Restaurants are numerous so quality & pricing good. Most have outdoor terraces where you can eat, people watch & enjoy a coffee or beer in your own time. Some have nearby children's play areas so you can eat & keep an eye on the little ones. Prices range from 10e per head for a fixed price lunch to c 25e per head dinner. All tastes catered for including Spanish, Indian, Chinese, pizza & vegetarian.

The following activities are available within 30 minutes drive: go karting, quad biking, Benidorm theme parks, safari parks, jet ski hire, diving tuition, donkey sanctuary, cycle hire, boat hire, health spas, indoor heated swimming pools, ten pin bowling, guided walks, mountain climbing, Lladro factory tours in English.

Top tips for a relaxing holiday:
Book your flights as soon as the schedules are released to get the best prices. If Saturday travel is too expensive or stressful arrive Friday & take an airport hotel & do some city exploring (59e per room IBIS Valencia or Alicante) or arrive Sunday & use the villa shopping service. Use the cool-boxes provided & take a picnic to the beach. Visit Aqualandia water theme park in Benidorm after 3pm for a reduced price & cooler experience. Go exploring or shopping on cooler overcast days & chill out round the pool on the sunny days. Stock up on your favourite tipple at the supermarket - good wine starts at 2.5e, bottle of vodka 4e, slices of Iberico ham c 2e, manchego cheese 8e per kg.
