At last - A beautiful Vila, in a great location, fully air-conditioned, wireless broadband, excellent value! Typical Mediterranean design, tasteful decoration and all mod cons make La Sonrisa the perfect place for a wonderful great value holiday. The spacious lounge has cable television (129 programs out of which 65 are English), DVD and CD. Additional DVD set in the master bedroom. Adjoining the bathrooms huge walk-in showers, featuring glass roofs, offer a sensational showering experience. The kitchen is a pleasure to work in, with herbs ready to be picked 3 steps away in the kitchen garden. Outside there are five different terraces to meet all requirements for sun, semi shade and shade. Plenty of loungers (8) and chairs are available to relax and enjoy outdoor life, or 'al fresco' dining. Very private garden and pool area. The pool is extra large: 10 x 8 x 5m, kidney shaped. With only a five minute drive, close to the beach, La Sonrisa has it all

We have wireless broaband - check your mails while lounging by the pool. At La Sonrisa, national phonecalls are free - as well as incomming calls. NEW: stereo with Ipod docking station.

Javea: Every year, Jávea´s beaches are awarded the blue flag of the European Union. The bustling 'Arenal' beach offers fine sand and shallow waters, nice play areas for children, restaurants, cafés and ample parking facilities. Jávea has many restaurants where one can try international cuisine as well as local dishes. The town has a rich culinary tradition which has been entirely preserved and which can be sampled, in the form of 'Tapas', in most bars of the town. Javea has conserved all the charm of traditional seafaring communities and has added all the services of a modern resort.

Outings: Within only 25 minutes drive there are three theme parks : Terra Mitica (like Disneyworld), Aqualandia (superslides) and Mundomar (animal park, dolphins, seals etc.).

Golf Information: There are 4 Golf courses in the area: Javea 9 holes (10 minute drive) La Sella 18 holes (15 minutes drive) Oliva 18 holes ( 25 minute drive) Moraira 9 holes (20 minute drive).

Our favourite villa in Javea

I stayed a week at La Sonrisa in May 2007 with my wife and young daughter and loved it so much that we returned at the end of August for 2 weeks. We love Javea and have returned to the area every year since first stumbling upon it in 2001. It is a perfect family holiday location with a good selection of child friendly bars and restaurants and great sandy beaches at the Arenal and Moraira. We first took our daughter when she was only 6 months old and this was no problem at all as hygiene standards are high and the supermarkets excellent with all the essentials you need with a baby. It is also great that there are no package holidays to Javea so it is far more relaxed than most of the Costas. We have stayed in many apartments and villas around Javea and La Sonrisa is by far our favourite and I have just booked another week this May. The location is brilliant, quiet with outstanding views, but close to all the town's amenities. We love watching the sunset which really is special. Our daughter who is now 3 and a half is really excited to be going back as she loves the pool and gardens, which are fully enclosed, and the selection of toys around the place. Having stopped in many villas without it, the air conditioning is a real plus especially with children. This villa is as good as the description and I would definately recommend it to anyone and have in fact done so to some of my family. The only problem is the sinking feeling when you have to go home. We cannot wait to go back again in May.

Fantastic holiday..went too quickly.

We have all had a wonderful 2 weeks in your lovely villa. It is exactly as shown on your website and the air conditioning is a huge plus on those very hot nights. This was our 2nd trip to Javea and we will definitely be back to stay here again, Thanks a million.

Had a great time at La Sonrisa. A beautiful, well equipped villa in a quiet location, only a short drive to the centre of Javea. The pool was terrific as the temperature was very hot. We really enjoyed watching the sunset as the views from the balcony of Mount Mongo were lovely.

A home from home at La Sonrisa

We approached our first overseas holiday with our 22 month old daughter with nervous intrepidation (!!)...all worries quickly subsided the moment we stepped inside La Sonrisa. The description of this being a "luxury" villa is completely true, with fantastic art-work on the walls and lots of personalised touches to make this one of the best villas we have stayed in whilst visiting Spain. Our daughter loved playing with the toys and reading the books on offer, along with splashing in the paddling pool when wanting a bit of water fun without Mum and Dad.
Gabi has obviously spent a lot of time thinking about what people want from a villa holiday and was great to deal with...very responsive to all our emails and phone calls.

Our winter warmer

We arrived after excellent directions at La Sonrisa for a 4 week stay mid feb to mid march 2008 and what a very pleasant surprise there was for us. Every detail of the description was accurate which in itself is quite unusual as many villas are overstated. The area is wonderfull, loads to do and bargains gallore with respect to dining out, its almost as cheap as cooking yourself. We loved the peace and quiet and the lovely suroundings with beautiful views and the pool in summer must be fabulous. We would recommend this villa most highly and congratulate Gabi on her approach to villa rental which is very professional,friendly and helpful. Lastly we would like to mention how reasonably priced our stay was, it is extremely good value for a villa of this size and quality and compared with previous years its the best yet. Thanks Gabi and we hope to see you next year.
