A privately designed Spanish villa creating holiday accommodation in which you can take full advantage of the Spanish climate. A beautiful feature swimming pool with walk in at one end, a separate covered terrace with built in Barbecue and seating area where you can enjoy all your meals out of doors looking onto the pool area. A large living room with high beamed ceiling and large paddle fan to cool those indoor moments. Three double bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms plus a separate toilet with handbasin, fitted kitchen. Javea is as near to a perfect family holiday destination as you can get. A sheltered valley with a beautiful coastline of bays and coves and a crescent shaped safe sandy beach. The old fishing port with its seafront full of bars and excellent restaurants, boutiques and gift shops. The old town full of historical buildings and trendy shops of all types. The main Arenal beach area with virtually every holiday facility you require for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. No high rise development with all that that entails. Just an untypical upmarket Spanish resort, famed for it's friendly welcome and near perfect climate of well over 300 full days of sunshine a year.

Local activities surfing, cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing

Notes:

The villa is all on one level with access to the garden and pool area through French windows out of the living room. The swimming pool has a shallow walk in area at one end and is landscaped attractively into the garden and lawn area. The outside covered terrace area which also has a built in Barbecue has tables and bench seating for al fresco meals overlooking the pool area. The villa is modern and well laid out with three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one with window ceiling giving an outdoor holiday feeling. The villa is well equipped and has a Playstation with games, large fridge freezer and microwave, t.v. with variety of programmes including some Spanish. There is off road parking and the villa is located in a quiet area yet close to the main sandy beach of Javea. The property is totally walled and fenced giving privacy and security. An ideal holiday villa for an enjoyable stay in the beautiful valley of JAVEA.

This is a great family villa

We stayed here in July/Aug 2006, at the time our 3 children were 6, 5 and 3. We found the garden really private and safe as fully fenced in and the children couldn't get round the front of the villa so it was a bit like a safe back garden, there were 2 pet rabbits at the bottom of the garden which our kids loved watching in their pens and feeding (not sure if they are still there) it was abit like Watership down if the rabbits escaped from their pen (happend the once when one of our boys opened the pen) you would see them peer in the patio windows in the morning). The pool was great for that age kids as they could play ball games while standing in the pool, we found the only improvements that could be made was to fix the mosqito nets to the windows as they tended to fall out of the window at times, and a bit better security of the patio doors (although not a major issue), other than that it was a great family villa, the shops and restaurants are not far down the road by car and there is a great beech (right onto the main road then left pass the small shop for rock pooling with nets and buckets). The villa is all on one level except for a reading area which we put out of bounds for the children and the bedrooms are all located together, we did consider going back this year but like to try new places, you will need to check the details of this post when booking as this was all in 2005 and things may have changed, but we came home really relaxed after this holiday and totally chilled out and thats really hard to achieve when you have 3 little people to look after

We have had many similar comments on our villa, it is really loved by families because of the features mentioned in the review.
Sadly the rabbits are not longer there as reliably feeding them became a problem. For the 2008 season the mosquito nets have been renewed and the Patio doors made more secure together with a total redecoration.
We look forward to you staying in our villa 'Casa David'.
