A well furnished and comfortable villa, with formal enclosed and well maintained gardens, swimming pool (newly re-tiled and floodlit), barbecue area, large cool living/dining area and electric kitchen with gas hobs. The villa has its own sun-roof and covered balcony. The villa, which has just been refurbished with two new bathrooms and improved central heating, is situate in a tranquil residential area, and lies barely half a mile from the main sandy beach and facilities (the walk is approx. 10 min). A restaurant listing is provided (we have 6 Michelin stars in the immediate area). The villa is available all year and excellent central heating ensures a comfortable winter stay. Television is available (see note below).

The villa is on the south side of Jávea bay on the tranquil woodland hillside on the right just before Tosalet and less than 1km from the main sandy beach at Arenal. In effect the villa is about as near to the beach as is possible to be whilst enjoying total tranquillity and thus one can avoid the noise and hurly-burly of that area! Can be walked easily in 10-12 min. (slightly longer on the return if the meal was good!).

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are shown in Euros. In winter the gas central heating is metered and charged at cost (+IVA/VAT) thus allowing the clients to set their own comfort levels. Changeover day is Tuesday (martes/mardi) and must be respected in high season but at other times flexibility is offered wherever possible and the rentals charged pro-rata/per diem for extra days over a week.
  • Linen (except beach towels) is supplied and changed weekly. Water, electricity & gas are included except in winter when gas for central heating is metered and charged separately (at cost). A returnable security deposit is required Euros 400 - 800 depending on duration of stay. There is a nominal laundry charge of Euros 10.00 per person per week and a single contribution towards final cleaning of Euros 100.00. Deposit approx. one third of rental on signature of agreement with balance due 6 weeks before arrival. Cots and high-chairs can be hired (at €18 and €12 per week, respectively). These must be booked in advance.

Notes: DISABLED : For the disabled there is direct entry from street level and a tiny step into the living area (3cms). There are then three (3) steps up to the main twin-bedded bedroom. The adjacent (semi-en suite) fully equipped bathroom contains both bath (with internal shower), basin, toilet & bidet. There is very easy access to the pool and gardens - from beside the front door giving directly onto the lawn - this is achieved via the garden side-gate which is at house/street level. The garden is secure for small children (it is completely enclosed) and the walk to the beach is approx.12-15 min. A car is essential. For the disabled see notes above under facilities. Further details on request. The pool and gardens are maintained all year round at the owner's expense.

Special, very competitive, car-hire rates available through us from the region's number one company - please ask for tariffs before booking. Cots and high chairs can be hired but must be booked in advance. The villa is equipped only with the 'free view' channels of SKY (which includes various programmes as well as the news channels SKY, BBC World, CNN, & EuroNews etc. and BBC Radios 2 & 4 and Classic FM etc.). The reduction of satellite coverage (reduced footprint signal over Spain was organised by Greg Dyke) means that BBC programmes can only be received with a 2.4m dish. Long term winter lets are welcomed. The two bathrooms have been superbly up-graded and also the central heating (the gas for this metered and is charged separately at cost). The property is supervised by the owner's neighbour.

Golf & other features:: We are ideally placed for golf, the nearest course, Jávea GC is less than 10 minutes away. A 9-hole course which is more difficult than it looks, has superb views of the 'landmark' mountain, Montgó, dominating Jávea (Green fees approx. Euros 65.00). Towards Denia about 15 minutes away is La Sella GC, a beautiful 18-hole course. Further afield about 30 minutes away is a new course at Oliva (designed by Seve Ballesteros). Also just south of Valencia the famous championship links course of El Saler. The theme park TERRA MITICA is within easy motoring distance (a short hop down the AP7 motorway) as are the excellent Aqualandia and MundoMar (dolphins) outside Benidorm. The fabulous new Science & Oceanographic parks (5000 different fish) at Valencia make a spectacular day's outing.

Superb family villa, very spacious. We had two families sharing and found that we had plenty of room and were not on top of each other at all. The villa was equipped well for the amount of guests, plenty of plates, glasses, towels etc. The best feature has to be the shaded naya, great for eating on with a nice barbeque and sitting out in the evening watching the lights over Javea. The pool can be watched from here, ideal if you need to keep an eye on the children. The pool was wonderful, clean and warm. It has pretty lights to turn on for night swimming! I would say that although the villa is walkable to the beach, the road is busy and has no paths so unsuitable for young children. Would love to go back and would reccommend to everyone.
