Best ever villa holiday - and we've done a few!

Tellyman St Albans, Herts, England
Review Submitted: October 5, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2008
The villa was everything that we’d hoped for and more. The location was fantastic, the fixtures and fittings were excellent and the views both from the villa and up the mountain behind were spectacular – I should know, I climbed it nearly every day to the top.

Its proximity to the harbour - literally a couple of minutes walk - and all of its restaurants and cafe-bars was such an advantage. It meant that the car was not at all essential.

Even the Javea beach front (Arenal) was not too far to walk.

We found the villa clean and neat and all the equipment was in fine order.

The owners, Ted and Lina, provided great customer service and replied really quickly to our emails when the holiday was in its planning stages.

We would not hesitate in recommending this excellent villa and we hope to return some time soon. As it says in the title, it was the best ever villa holiday.

We have stayed as both a family and extended family in this beautiful villa for over 10 years, plenty of room for as many as three families without being cramped! The villa is situated in the exclusive marina/fishing port part of Javea. It is both quiet and scenic and is a stones throw away from the village shops and restaurants.
You can choose to spend your days relaxing in the peaceful grounds of the villa by the pool and wander down to the village for a meal. Alternatively we love popping down to the fishing port and buying some fresh fish to cook on the BBQ. I musn't forget to mention the local beach with its beautifully clear and refreshing water, highly recommended on a hot afternoon.
There are so many sights that are no more than an hour away when you are feeling adventurous. We love staying here and always find the owners so very helpfull and only a telephone call away if you want help or advice. You won't be disappointed if you choose to spend your well earned holiday here.

In a class of its own...

Review Submitted: January 11, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2008
Javea is a lovely Spanish town, with beautiful scenery and with low level buildings that add to the charm. We found the villa to be in a great location just up from the marina, it is very quiet and has great views across the bay, we were amazed at how quickly you can walk into the town, with a choice of supermarkets and some nice individual shops... it even has a couple of hardware shops! The stylish promenade has some good restaurants and we certainly found a few favourites of our own.

We found the villa very large and it has a huge covered veranda with views over the bay, ideal for breakfast time and although we were only a small party, we would say it has plenty of room for a much larger family.

We were pleased to find that the villa has a Sky box, very handy for catching up on UK news in the evening and some nice leather sofas to relax on that looked new. The pool came in very handy and was great for a early morning dip, loads of sun loungers as well! also on the terrace, is a large barbecue.

We would highly recommend this villa, you certainly will not be disappointed and we enjoyed it so much we have been back a number of times.

A little piece of heaven

Margie C Croydon
Review Submitted: January 8, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008
We stayed here last summer and had a fantastic time. The villa is so well positioned, only a 3 minute walk from the port and the bars and restaurants, so going out in the evening was a pleasure. The villa itself is spacious and luxurious and the pool was always warm and inviting. There are orange trees in the garden and it was lovely to be able to pick them and have freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning. There are so many things to do in the area to add that extra sparkle. We particularly liked Safari Aitana and Terra Mitica but there are lots of other places nearby to visit, Vergel Safari, Terra Natura, Aqualand and Mundomar to name but a few, as well as several golf and go karting clubs in Javea. There are also frequent fiestas in Javea so you don't even have to leave town to get a bit of culture. I would highly recommend this villa and indeed will be coming again this summer.
