A modern(2004) villa, a private 10 by 5 metre pool(heated mid March to mid October). Air conditioned bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen,washing machine, dishwasher,microwave, oven and hob. Outside BBQ house with pool shower. Villa borders green zone with pine trees and is situated on the prestigious La Cala urbanisation. Arenal beach with shops and restaurants is 3 km and there are several smaller beaches within 1Km. Facilities include Hi Fi system, Playstation 2 and Cable TV including English channels. The enclosed garden with electronic security gates is fully landscaped. There are two double bedrooms and one twin. The upstairs bedroom has it's own terrace with views over Mount Montgo. Two supermarkets are less than 1Km away and the Trencall restaurant is directly opposite the urbanisation. All services are mains and are inclusive in the price as is a linen and cleaning service. Situated amongst pine trees on the La Cala urbanisation which is located in the beautiful Cabo deLa Nau area. This scenic headland has breathtaking views of the cliffs and coves and a number of beaches. These smaller beaches are ideal for swimming ,snorkeling and diving and most have beach bars and restaurants. The headland offers many beautiful walks with views which include the island of Portixol. Close by is the lively beach area of the Arenal with it's many bars, restaurants and shops. Also the old town of Javea with it's twisting narrow roads offers a chance to wander around the shops and stop for a refreshing drink in the picturesque squares.

Sports facilities: There are golf clubs in Javea, La Sella near Denia. Altea, Calpe and Olivia. Further afield El Saler near Valencia is rated the best course in Spain after Valderama. There are two tennis clubs within 500 metres and the coast has many opportunities for scuba diving, snorkelling and swimming. Javea has a prestigious bowling club with affiliations with Marbella and Valencia.

Local facilities: La Cala is situated on the Cabo de la Nau road which leads to the most eastern point of Spain. Two restaurants have fabulous views over the bays. There are many 'Mirardors' which are viewpoints over the beautiful coves around the Cala. Javea has in addition to the Arenal an old town of great beauty and a port area full of shops and restaurants. The motorway gives easy to Calpe. Moraira and many other Costa Blanca resorts. Inland the Falls of Algar and the castles at Guadalest and Jativa are well worth visiting. The port are at Alicante has many fine restaurants overlooking the Marina.

We stayed at the villa for the second year running and now that any stocking problems have been addressed from last time we were more than comfortable. The property was spotless, had everything that a family would need and provided a quiet retreat to recharge the batteries.
The owner was helpful when trying to resolve our only problem, the fact that the water was off for 4 days!!! It turned out to be a major burst so there was nothing that anyone could do.
We would certainly recommed this propery to friends, it is not in the middle of a noisy centre so may not suit those who want non stop parties etc, but if you want a quiet break then it is ideally situated. There were plenty of things to do within a 20minute drive, a car is essential. Overall a brillaint villa in an idylic location, we would love to go back next year, we will have to see......

Beautiful villa in lovely location

This is by far the best villa we have stayed in…Very clean and tidy and well equipped. Lovely pool and garden and all very well maintained.
The area is also very quiet…it was a blessing to stay in a villa without having dogs barking all night.
There are many spectacular view points from the cliffs of the sea and various beaches and many of these you can walk to.
The Arenal which is only a short drive away has many restaurants overlooking the beach and caters for many tastes.
We would very highly recommend this villa and hope to return next year.

A fantastic villa

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Jacaranda. The Villa is beautifully furnished as has everything you need and more. There are plenty of sunloungers and chairs and even lots of inflatables for the pool. The facilities are excellent and the kitchen is better equipped than our one at home!
There is plenty to see and do in the area, Moraira market is a great day out and there are some good baragins to be had on leather handbags etc. The Arenal is close by with plenty of restaraunts overlooking the sea.

A first class villa in a wonderful location.

Great villa with only minor quibbles.

We stayed in this villa for a couple of weeks in the summer of 2008. It was so nice we booked it again for even longer in 2009. The photos do not really do the villa justice since the garden is now more mature. The villa itself had ‘almost’ (see below) everything we needed and the pool was great - although it may have benefited from a ladder at the deep end for safety reasons. We definitely appreciated the air con in the bedrooms and the TV keep the kids quiet in the heat of the day. The area is very quiet but that suited us. We found the town of Javea great to explore.

Our only quibbles were:
The villa only had the minimum of cutlery/crockery for 6 people which meant we had to use the dishwasher after each meal even though it was only half full.
Apart from a small welcome pack there was nothing in the way of cleaning materials or condiments left by the cleaners. We had to buy everything and I mean everything, from scratch. We found this unusual for a private villa.
The barbeque was awkward to use (although we managed quite well) since there was no height adjustment on the grill and the charcoal tended to fall through grate.
There were no extra pillows when the place was fully occupied.

Having said all that, we wouldn’t be returning if we didn’t like the place. Just the above improvements would turn it from a 4 star to a 5 star.
Owner's Response: We are obviously delighted that Helen and family are returning for three weeks this year.
However we are staggered by the comments regarding cutlery/crockery as this villa is really well equipped and far better than anything we have ever stayed in. We have received numerous compliments about how well the kitchen is equipped. We provide every cooking implement we can think of and have plastic crockery for outside and more than enough equipment for more than 6 people. Will call Helen to discuss her issues.
On cleaning materials we always leave plenty but ask guests to replace what they use. Obviously the guests before them did not replace anything.
The comments on the BBQ mean they did not Understand how it works. Will advise them for their 2009 holiday.

A lovely clean villa in a very quiet estate. The pool area was fantastic with plenty of room by it to sunbathe and play games. The pool was very user friendly and very well looked after every Wednesday.The living room has everything that is required including Cable TV with Sky sports and all english. The kitchen was very well equiped, enough for 6 persons.
The surrouding area was stunning. Views from the Maraudors down to beutiful blue waters.
The local bar Jaspas, was fun and again all English. Trencalls restaurant was very Spainish but closed quite early. Down in Arenal there are many bars and restaurants to be enjoyed.
A car is a must as there are also lots of places to visit, Denia, Calpe, Moraira the list goes on. This villa is the best we have ever had in Europe and the United States.We even had a Lightning storm while we were staying at the Villa and the show from the Lighthouse about 2km away was brilliant.Very highly recommended.
