Javea holiday villa

We stayed at this lovely villa for 10 days in June/July 08 and were very impressed with the location, facilities and accommodation. Having 2 small children, one of the best things about the villa is the completely enclosed, very private, garden and pool area. There are absolutely no escape routes for even the most Houdini-like of children, and as such it means that Mum and Dad can relax by the pool without having to chase after the little ones every 2 minutes! The pool is a good size and we spent most of the holiday in it, or around it - our son even learnt to swim whilst we were there.
The location of the villa is about a 5 minute drive from the Arenal beach, and perhaps another 5 into the Old Town part of Javea. The surrounding area is lovely; if you drive off the beaten track you'll find some lovely hidden spots and some of the views from vantage points around the local area are stunning.
Inside the villa was absolutely everything and more that you could need for a self-catering break away*. A modern kitchen and large open-plan dining/living area was perfect for keeping an eye on the kids, and the 3 bedrooms were of a good size, all air-conditioned (as was the main living space). For families with small children we noted there was a travel cot and highchair, and outside a swing, slide and several inflatables for pool use. Our 2 year old daughter particularly enjoyed the miniature kitchen she found to play with! Being in a quiet spot, this was the perfect relaxing family break we had hoped it would be and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family, and also return ourselves.
*One small point, if you are the kind of people that like endless english tv channels and high-speed internet connection, you won't find them here, but the pros of the villa far out-weigh those tiny cons!! We had the most relaxing break we've had in a long time here!
