Beautiful Villa to rent for the perfect family holiday, the villa is situated in an exclusive area just a few minutes drive from the beaches, the port and the historic town of Javea. You are one mile from Javea golf course and 3 miles from Javea beach. There are numerous golf courses within easy reach, including the famous 'El Saler' near Valencia. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The villa affords fantastic panoramic views across the valley and of Montgo Natural Park. Javea lies between the Capes of San Antonio and La Nao, on the Costa Blanca, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, and is sheltered from the continental winds by Mount Montgó. With it's mild year-round temperatures, varying landscapes - from sandy coastlines to rugged mountain areas - and extensive tourist facilities, Javea has still managed to preserve all the charm of an ancient fishing village Javea is midway between Alicante and Valencia airports (90km), with numerous low cost flights. .

The Villa is located just off of the Javea to Benitachell road (CV740). Along this road are several restaurants, some within walking distance. Along this road, heading towards Benitachell, you will find the Javea Golf course, 2 petrol stations and the Mas Y Mas supermarket, all within a short drive. Back towards Javea you come to a roundabout, turning right here (Camino Cabanes), will take you to the Beach.Keeping straight at the roundabout and right at the next one, will take you to the Town and Port. Notes to the rental rates

On booking we require a 10% deposit (£100 minimum), with the balance to be paid 6 weeks before your departure. In addition we require an amount of £150 to cover any damage or breakages, this amount to be paid with the balance and is refundable after your stay. There are many scenic walks including the marked pathway to the top of Montgo, the mountain situated in the local National Park, from the top, on a clear day, it is possible to see Ibiza. From Javea port, you can take a boat to Calpe and Denia and from the port in Denia ferries run to the Balearic Islands. Close to nearby Benidorm, you will find the “Terra Mitica” Theme Park and the Terra Natura animal park which also includes a Water Park. Also at Benidorm you will find the large Water Park, Aqualandia. From nearby Teulada or Gata you can take a trip on the 'Ferrocarril de la Generalitat Valenciana' a small gauge railway which offers some fantastic views as it winds its way along the coast from Denia to Alicante. The train now stops at Terra Mitica and can make a fun day out for the whole family. |
Javea
Jávea has a 20 km coastline that stretches from the Cova Tallá to the Cala de la Granadella. There is an interesting mixture of beaches with soft sandy beaches (Arenal beaches), small, shingled beaches bordered by pine trees which are suitable for diving (Granadella beaches), and naturist beaches (Ambolo beaches). There are also small coves: Portichol and La Sardinera. A more traditional Jávea is found inland with riu-raus and orange groves that are protected from the harsh continental climate by the natural barrier formed by Montgó, which extends to the north of Jávea and serves as a border between Jávea and Dénia. Javea is divided into three main areas, the Old Town, the Port and the Arenal.
The Port
The port area has had many improvements implemented over the past few years and now has many bars and restaurants along the promenade. A stroll through the Port can be a true delight if taken in the late afternoon with the arrival of the fishing boats or in the early dusky evening when you can savour the maritime landscape next to the beach. During the Fiestas the port is the hub of the entertainment with parades, street parties, music dancing and of course firework displays.
The Costa Blanca.
From Javea, the many attractions along the Costa Blanca, are within easy reach. The historic city of Valencia is well worth a visit, don’t miss the ultra modern Sea Life Centre near the port. Benidorm is 30 miles away and here you can visit Terra Mitica the theme park packed with entertainment for the whole family, the animal and nature park, Terra Natura and the water park Aqulandia.

Just returned from a two week holiday at the villa with my wife and two children (boy 11 and girl 5). The property was exactly as described with a lovely pool and barbeque area - ideal for soaking up the Spanish sun. The property is clean and well maintained with a relaxed and informal feel about it. Well equipped with SKY TV & DVD player.
The location of the villa is ideal set amongst an area of many private villas, but very quiet and away from any hussle and bustle. The beaches of the main resort of Javea are less than 10 mins away by car. Javea is beautiful, not over developed and has a really nice promenade with bars, restaurants etc. The beach has the all of the usual watersports/activities. Benidorm, if you choose to go there, is about 30-40 mins by car so if you want waterparks etc its not too far to go.
The owner provided excellent service with clear and easy to follow instructions on how to get to the villa. Any questions I had prior to going out where answered promptly and I would have no hestitation in recommending the villa. In fact we are already planning a trip back next year.
