Beautiful Villa to rent for the perfect family holiday, the villa is situated in an exclusive area just a few minutes drive from the beaches, the port and the historic town of Javea. You are one mile from Javea golf course and 3 miles from Javea beach. There are numerous golf courses within easy reach, including the famous 'El Saler' near Valencia. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The villa affords fantastic panoramic views across the valley and of Montgo Natural Park. Javea lies between the Capes of San Antonio and La Nao, on the Costa Blanca, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, and is sheltered from the continental winds by Mount Montgó. With it's mild year-round temperatures, varying landscapes - from sandy coastlines to rugged mountain areas - and extensive tourist facilities, Javea has still managed to preserve all the charm of an ancient fishing village Javea is midway between Alicante and Valencia airports (90km), with numerous low cost flights. .

There are many scenic walks including the marked pathway to the top of Montgo, the mountain situated in the local National Park, from the top, on a clear day, it is possible to see Ibiza. From Javea port, you can take a boat to Calpe and Denia and from the port in Denia ferries run to the Balearic Islands. Close to nearby Benidorm, you will find the “Terra Mitica” Theme Park and the Terra Natura animal park which also includes a Water Park. Also at Benidorm you will find the large Water Park, Aqualandia. From nearby Teulada or Gata you can take a trip on the 'Ferrocarril de la Generalitat Valenciana' a small gauge railway which offers some fantastic views as it winds its way along the coast from Denia to Alicante. The train now stops at Terra Mitica and can make a fun day out for the whole family.

Javea: Jávea has a 20 km coastline that stretches from the Cova Tallá to the Cala de la Granadella. There is an interesting mixture of beaches with soft sandy beaches (Arenal beaches), small, shingled beaches bordered by pine trees which are suitable for diving (Granadella beaches), and naturist beaches (Ambolo beaches). There are also small coves: Portichol and La Sardinera. A more traditional Jávea is found inland with riu-raus and orange groves that are protected from the harsh continental climate by the natural barrier formed by Montgó, which extends to the north of Jávea and serves as a border between Jávea and Dénia. Javea is divided into three main areas, the Old Town, the Port and the Arenal.

The Port: The port area has had many improvements implemented over the past few years and now has many bars and restaurants along the promenade. A stroll through the Port can be a true delight if taken in the late afternoon with the arrival of the fishing boats or in the early dusky evening when you can savour the maritime landscape next to the beach. During the Fiestas the port is the hub of the entertainment with parades, street parties, music dancing and of course firework displays.

The Costa Blanca.: From Javea, the many attractions along the Costa Blanca, are within easy reach. The historic city of Valencia is well worth a visit, don’t miss the ultra modern Sea Life Centre near the port. Benidorm is 30 miles away and here you can visit Terra Mitica the theme park packed with entertainment for the whole family, the animal and nature park, Terra Natura and the water park Aqulandia.

Excellent clean house

I have had a verry nice holliday in a beautifull house.
The house was clean and everything you need is in the house.
The owner gave good information and everything was as good as he show on the site and told me by phone.
I can recommend this house to everybody.
Owner's Response: During 2007 and 2008 we have had the pleasure of welcoming guests to our villa from Belgium, France, Germany, Holland and Norway as well as all parts of the UK. Next year we have a family from Canada staying. We encourage all our guests to inform us of any problems or suggestions they may have to improve the facilities for the benefit of future guests. Just what we needed !

Having stayed in Javea before, we knew the area well and found the villa to be in an ideal location. The attention from Keith before we went was excellent and had this been our first time, a great help for knowing how to get around. We only went on the beach once as the pool was too good to leave. The rooms were a good size and viewing the sunsets from the naya enabled us to enjoy this room the most. The kitchen was well equipped and we made use of the BBQ. The villa was in a peaceful area although there were some lively ( feathered ) birds next door ! All in all, we were very pleased with the comfort of our stay.

excellent villa for families

My family have booked 2 years in a row in July 07 & 08 and have also recommended to friend who also enjoyed their stay. Accommodation excellent for families with young children as they can play, swim and watch films etc safely and within eyesight. Pool area was excellent and kids loved it. We felt safe, which is important with young children.The best part of villa for us was the balcony area , where you can sit and have an read a book/have anevening drink before going out etc. The views from the villa across the mountains was the perfect holiday tonic. The broadband was excellent for me, as I had business matters to attend to each day and the speed of internet was good and reliable.
Only construcitve criticism would be that it would have been nice to have air con in the childrens bed rooms. We have been twice and will hopefully be back soon.

Great Villa holiday

We have just returned from a great holiday at this villa.
We found the villa as described, and it was very well laid out with plenty of room for five visitors.

The villa had good quality furniture and a well stocked kitchen. The only down side for us having been in mid August was no air conditioning which meant the nights were quite sticky.

The best part for us was the external areas. Good sized patio areas with sunbeds and a large barbecue surrounded a lovely 10 x 5 swimming pool. We stayed at the villa on a number of days and just fired up the barbie swam or sunbathed. Our two children lived in the pool and both learnt to swim while we were there.

The villa overlooks a lovely vally and the impressive Mount Montego, the views were stunning, as were the sunsets.

The villa is also well placed to visit the local areas including Altea, Moreria and Javea, which we found to have the best beach. We also went to the mountain village of Guadalest which we would recommend to all, as well as the Terra Mitica theme park.

We would definately return to the villa, and may well do next year.
