Javea

The Javea area of the Costa Blanca is best known for its unspoiled beauty and excellent 'Blue Flag' beaches. Javea itself is split into three main areas. The 'Arenal' offers beautiful white sandy beaches, a promenade of shops, bars and restaurants with a small fair for the children in the Summer Months with rides, trampolines and go-karts. The Port is a traditional fishing port with a large Marina, intimate cobbled streets, a brightly lit promenade of restaurants and bars and clean pebbled beaches. The Historic town with its white house fronts and cobbled streets is a typical 'Spanish' town relatively unspoilt with a quiet and relaxing ambiance. The spectacular fiestas of Javea begin in June and continue through the Summer months. Residencial Toscamar is under 1km away from a quiet rocky beach ideal for swimming and sunbathing and the Arenal beach is less than 2km. A regular Bus Service (half-hourly in peak season) links Toscamar direct to the Arenal, Port and the Historic Old Town.

The beautiful historic village of Guadalest set in the mountains is a place not to be missed by the visitor along with the 'Waterfalls of Algar', other nearby towns include Moraira, with spectacular coastlines and varied entertainment, Denia with its large Port offering daily trips to the Baleric Islands, Calpe with its legendary 'Calpe Rock' jutting out of the sea, Benissa, Teulada and Gata de Gorgos.
