WHY TORREVIEJA-well it is the only all-year town along the coast between the major cities of Alicante and Cartagena. The other communities in the area such as La Marina, Santa Pola, La Manga, Los Alcazares, Mazzarone etc are strictly holiday towns which close in the Winter. Torrevieja is not geared to the foreign traveller and has very few hotels, in fact many Spanish people holiday here which has a beneficial effect -on keeping prices down. The area enjoys the best climate in Spain, with in excess of 300 days of sunshine per year. In fact the Torrevieja region is rated by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places to live. This is due in part to the sunshine, but also with the close proximity of two huge salt lakes which you pass travelling from Alicante. These are a haven for a variety of seabirds, with a resident population of flamingos. On Friday’s, the largest outdoor street market in southern Spain is held in Torrevieja.

Notes to the rental rates

  • Deposit of £150.00 (non-refundable) required with booking. The balance, including additional £125 (refundable) damage/key deposit, is required 8 weeks prior to departure.
    Failure to complete the balance payment will result in the loss of your deposit.
    CANCELLATION REFUNDS:
    Up to 8 weeks before arrival date - no charges
    4 - 8 weeks before arrival date 50% of total payment returned.
    2 - 4 weeks before arrival date 25% of total payment retuned.
    Less than 2 weeks before arrival date - NO REFUND
    ( ALL CASES, THE BOOKING DEPOSIT OF £150.00 IS NON-REFUNDABLE)
    The damage/key deposit is returnable on our agents inspection & confirmation along with the return of the property keys.The owner reserves the right to charge clients for damages, breakages or loss to the property caused by the client.
    Prices include linen, towels, electricity + water.
    Long term rentals considered.
    Mid-week and short stay bookings accepted.
  • Car hire is not essential but is advisable in order to explore the locality. There are several hire companies in both Alicante and Murcia Airports.
  • We try to be flexible on access to the property dependant on bookings. If there are no clients arriving/departing on your arrival/departure date, all we ask is for time to allow our agents to clean + change linen. These times will be agreed and the final decision will be the owners.

Smoking is not permitted inside the Villa, but you are welcome to smoke on the terraces. We trust that you will respect this request. As the property is based on three floors, young children need supervision as there is only one stair gate. Cot Hire, Child's Buggy & Car Seat can be arranged if required. For the Golfer

There are 3 Golf Courses (including Villa Martin & Real Golf Club Campoamor) approx 15 minutes drive. Other courses include Las Ramblas of Orihuela Golf Club/Quesada and El Plantio. Torrevieja, a 10 minute drive, is a bustling Spanish town with many shops, a long promenade, parks, museums and international marina.

The Orihuela Costa

The area is accessible via Murcia– San Javier airport approx 20 minutes by car, and Alicante airport about 45 minutes drive. This coastline enjoys superb weather for around 11 months of the year . . The nearest beach, Playa Flamenca is small, but within 5 kms are beaches at La Zenia, Punta Prima and the much photographed Cabo Roig beach and harbour, all Blue Flag beaches, all within 10 minutes drive

There are two information folders in the Villa, located on the coffee table, which give clients details on our property and there are menu's for the local restaurants, bars etc. The folders will help you to familarise yourself with the local area etc. You will also find the swipe card for entry to the communial pool. Also included you will find details on the many local Golf courses.
