Our villa is very comfortably furnished to make your holiday stay feel like a home with comfy sofas, air conditioning and good quality furnishings. The villa is close to all amenities and within 10 min of the beach and 15 min away from several fantastic 18 hole golf courses. The Residence is very peaceful and quiet; just what you need for a nice relaxing holiday especially with the children or grand-children. The villa has a garden and patio with table and chairs. More chairs and sun loungers are on the solarium which has wonderful views towards the mountains. The communal pool is available only to residents and their guests. The villa has been fitted with quality, comfortable furnishings and appliances such as leather sofas, a sofa bed for 2 people, television with English system, ceiling fans and air conditioning if required, safe and burglar alarm. The kitchen is fitted with a full size electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dish washer and washing machine.

Guardamar is 5 kms away, a very pleasant Spanish town with a large shopping area and a diverse selection of bars and restaurants. Throughout the season many fiestas are held in the area. Elche and Alicante 1/2 hr drive away. Guardamar 15 mins drive. Torrevieja 20-25 mins drive away. Mountains only 15 minutes drive away.

Golf: La Finca and La Marquesa golf courses are within 10 mins drive, there are 3 golf courses at Villa Martin approx 20 mins way, and 2 around Alicante approximately 30 mins away. La Manga golf course is 50 mins away. A car is the recommended transport.

Great Villa at La Marine Alicante spain

My family and myself (parents in 60's, 3 children 8, 10, 11, spent 2 weeks at the villa in La Marina end of july-aug. We enjoyed our holiday very much.

The house is clean, comfortable and spacious. Good size private roof terrace also 2nd terrace off the lounge area downstairs for chilling out and alfresco dining.

The house is well equipt with everything you will need and to feel at home.
The oasis (area for where house is situated) is pretty, well kept including pool one minute walk from the house.

In the centre (town) at the top of the road its about 15 mins walk we didnt hire a car so did this several times there is a supermarket, tourist information office, bars, restaurants, shops etc.. The fish & chips is to die for huge portions and delicious Good value for money. Nice chinese and other good places to eat/takeaway.

If you wanted to get a taxi they only take upto 4 people at one time and there were 6 of us and trying to explain we need a bigger car was somewhat of a challenge to say the least.

Good outdoor pool about 20 mins walk. Life guard on duty, slides for the kids and good snack bar we stayed there for the day.
We took the bus to the beach only 1.20 euro fab sandy beach with warm sea also with life guards. We got the bus to Guardamar lovely spanish town with beach worth a visit.

Carol and Mick are friendly welcoming people and I would like to say a great big thank you to you both for everything. Would recommend your holiday villa to friends and family and hope to return soon.

A wonderfull place to spent your holiday

This year was our second time to the residence Oasis in La Marina, but the first time in the house of Carol and Mick. They are a very nice couple that are helpfull with everything you need. The house is wonderfull, clean, very relaxing and convenient. The only possible lack is that there is no aircondition in the bedrooms (there are fans), for us would that be very much appreciated in the summermonths. The owners can rent a car for you that is ready to pick-up at the airport, or drive your self. The car is needed for going to the beach (within 10 min) and see the lovely surroundings. There is a lot to do near La Marina and the beaches are simply great.
We will certainly come back.

Fabulous Villa in Costa Blanca, Spain

My family and I visited this lovely villa in August 2009, we stayed here 4 years ago and fancied a return trip. The villa and surrounding complex is very neat and clean and well looked after. There is a shared swimming pool, which again, is kept in excellent condition by its residents. If you fancy a trip to the beach, there are long sandy beaches nearby but you do need a car (just a 5 minute drive there), but there is free parking available if you are not too late to the beach.

Guardamar is the nearest town with plenty of restaurants and shops if you fancy less than a 10 minute drive there, however there are restaurants and shops and a local supermarket in walking distance. There is a water park at Torrevieja and other attractions.

The villa itself has air conditioning which is a must in the height of the summer. The villa is very spacious with a roof top terrace which is great if you are a sun worshipper. There is a smaller terrace at the front of the villa with a small garden which is great for sitting out for a meal or a drink. On the ground floor there is a small kitchen and large living / dining area plus a shower room / wc, on the first floor there are two bedrooms (a double and a twin) plus a bathroom. There is also secure parking for one car.

Alicante airport is approximately 20 minutes drive away, along the very civilised N332 road. You can hire a car from the airport which is something I would recommend. Speak to the owners Carol and Mick Ager, they would be happy to arrange a car for you, just pay on arrival at the hire car company. To give you an idea of cost we hired a Ford Fiesta (it was perfect for two adults and two children plus luggage) for 218 euros for the week, this included a full tank of fuel as well.

I hope that this review has covered most questions and been helpful to you. The owners, Carol and Mick Ager, are a lovely couple who make every effort to make your stay pleasant, they are residents of Spain themselves who will meet and greet you and make you feel at home. Fantastic Value for money villa

Stayed here in May where I found this villa to be comfortable, clean and convenient to local ammenities.

While visiting relatives we enjoyed our ability to entertain our family for dinner on serveral occasions. It really was very easy to make ourselves at home.

The 'management' also collected us from the airport and where kind enough to ensure we had provisions for the first evening of stay. How often do you get that ?

Comfortably sleeps 4 and could sleep 6 if required.

All in all fantastic value for a very comfortable holiday.

Will return soon !
