Beaches and golf: Beaches:
There are many beaches along the Orihuela Costa with many awarded the 'blue flag' in recognition of health and safety, including La Zenia which boasts two beaches. The smaller and quieter Cala Cerrada and the beautiful popular Cala Bosque with good facilities including beach bar, sunbeds and parasols. The beaches of Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Campoamor are only a very short journey and several are linked by a beautiful cliff walkway.
Golf:
Just a short drive from the villa are three superb golf courses. The championship golf course at Villamartin. Not for the faint hearted is Las Ramblas golf course which is considered to be one of the most challenging in Spain and Royal Campoamor which must be one the most stunning courses. Airports, transfers, car hire and taxi service: Airports: There are two main airports in the Costa Blanca area and these are Alicante, which is just a 40 minute drive to the property and Murcia, a smaller airport offering low budget flights, is just a 20 minute drive away. Airlines: Monarch/Globespan/Rynair/Easyjet/Jet2/BmiBaby offering budget and scheduled flights from Stansted, Gatwick, Luton, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Prestwick, Shannon, Dublin, Cork and other major European airports.
Transfers: Airport transfers to and from both these airports can be provided at a low budget cost and transport to other locations can also be arranged during your holiday
Car hire: Should you wish to hire a car during your stay we may be able to arrange this for you, providing you give us ample notice. Charges for hired cars will be inclusive of full airport transfers. You will be picked up from the airport and your car will be waiting at the villa on your arrival. Similarly you will be driven back to the airport, therefore no long queue to wait
