Beaches:
There are many beaches on the Orihuela Costa which have been awarded the blue flag in recognition of safety and cleanliness and you are walking distance to the fabulous beach of La Zenia with its good facilities and beach bar. The beaches of Playa Flamenca, Cala Capitan, Levante, Cabo Roig and Campoamor are a little further. The beautiful Mar Menor coastline with stretches from San Pedro to La Manga is a 15 minute drive away. Alternatively heading north towards Alicante you will find the very attractive sandy beaches of Guardamar and La Marina.
Flights, transfers, car hire and taxi service:
There are two main airports in the Costa Blanca area and these are ALICANTE, which is just a 40 minute drive to La Zenia and MURCIA, a smaller airport offering low budget flights is just a 20 minute drive away.
Airlines: Monarch/Globespan/Rynair/Easyjet/Jet2/BmiBaby offering budget and scheduled flights from Stansted, Gatwick, Luton, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Prestwick, Shannon, Dublin, Cork and other major European airports.
Airport transfers to and from both these airports can be provided at a low budget cost and transport to other locations can also be arranged during your holiday.
Should you wish to hire a car during your stay we may be able to arrange this for you, providing you give us ample notice. Charges for hired cars will be inclusive of airport transfers. Please enquire.
Golf:
Just a short drive from the villa are three superb golf courses and these are the championship golf course at Villamartin, not for the faint hearted is Las Ramblas golf course which is considered to be one of the most challenging in Spain and Royal Campoamor which must be one of the most stunning courses.
