The town of Moraira was originally a fishing village. It still has fishing boats but is now enjoyed by many Europeans on holiday. It has kept it's charm and feeling of a village community. Set in a valley running down to the sea. There are two beaches. One is in the town and the other one is at El Portet which a short distance from the town. Club Nautica in the heart of the marina is lovely for a relaxing lunch while watching the boats. Many good restaurants and bars. Prices vary according to the establishment. 7 Michelin guide rated and2 Michelin star restaurants in the area. Two night clubs. Children's fair. Marina. Many supermarkets, banks and two internet shops. Nice gift. clothes and shoe shops. The area is idea for families as the town is quite small, very clean and the Spanish are very friendly.
