This delightful, recently constructed detached villa is conveniently located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants. The centre of Moriara and its safe sandy beach and fine sea front restaurants is just 1.2km away. The front door leads straight into a spacious living room with high quality modern furnishings and chandeliers. From here, on the ground floor there is a large separate fitted kitchen, a utility room, one twin bedroom and a family bathroom. Stairs lead up to the first floor landing having one double bedroom, with balcony, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom off. The villa is very comfortable being furnished and equipped to a high standard. All the main living rooms are centrally heated. Entertainment is provided by regional Satellite TV, DVD Player and a music system.

It was not that long ago since holidaymakers discovered the sleepy little fishing village of Moraira with its variety of gorgeous stony and sandy beaches that can be found both in the town itself and along the coastline. At that time, the villagers´ main livelihood was fishing, and their main diet consisted of eating the fish they caught. Today the system remains as it has been for hundreds of years; the fishermen go to sea in the early hours of the morning to catch the produce, which is sold later that day by auction at the traditional fish market. This market has grown over the years, and is now one of the most important fish markets in the Costa Blanca region. Our Moriara villa holiday rentals are located approximately 93km from Alicante (ALC) Airport and 130km from Valencia Airport.

I stayed in Angevic just out of peak season. Upon arrival, which was late at night, I was suprosed by the amount of space in teh villa. The drive area was huge and well presented. Around by the pool there was an additional wooden pergoda type seating area which hadn't been advertised but was a bonus with outdoor lights and power for our little stereo whih was great, and a gas BBQ. Inside the villa the furniture was quite oppulent and well looked after, the dresser was still stocked with beautiful glassware (luckily locked off from use, just for display) the living area is very open plan and there is a lovely feeling of space to it. The kitchen was spotless, can't fault it and everything worked. We throughly enjoyed our week stay, the location was ideal, literally 1 minute walk is a big supermakrtet, a couple of bars and restaurants etc. then along the road to Moriara is a couple more restaurants. Moraira itself was lovely, the people very firendly and exceptionally helpful with our 2 year old, made us feel very welcome and at ease. I would definitely return there again.

FAB VILLA & HOLIDAY, WOULD DEFINETLY BOOK AGAIN

Directions given by Solmar Villas were easy to follow (a small toll of 5 euros and 40 cents was paid on the motorway). We arrived approx 1pm at the villa, to find it spotlessly clean and as described. it exceeded all expectations and did not have a "tired look" about it at all. The villa is accessed via large electric gates (no remote was found though, so was operated manually), large driveway to accomadate many cars and enough space to turn the car around.Small grassed area with a swing, toddler swing and the 1st barbeque area. The pool and poolside area was clean and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers neatly stacked in a corner. Only one ground floor access was available to rental customers and that was through the front door which had to be kept locked at all times when we were at the poolside as it was out of sight. Although we used the downstairs toilet the shower in that room was never used so I cannot comment on whether the shower had been fixed. Ants in the kitchen were a problem but they can be in all villas in hot countries, we just made sure that all food was kept in the fridge, all dishes were washed immediately and all crumbs were cleared away. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with cutlery, crockery and utensils, the fridge was a little rusty and had a huge layer of ice inside so was in need of defrosting it kept freezing food items that were put to the back of the fridge.Both the washing mashine and dishwasher were in good working order as was the hob and oven. We had no cause to contact the holiday rep as we never had any problems. we ate our freshly bought croissants every morning on the undercover terrace and ate our lunch and a couple of barbeques under the newly installed poolside pergola where you can find a 2nd barbeque (gas). All bedrooms were clean and had adequate storage. A large roof terrace was accessed throught the main bedroom. A/C is needed at this villa as the nights are very hot, we overcame this by opening the patio windows in the bedroom when we went to bed (we never had a problem with mosquitos). The local supermarket (Mas y Mas) was well stocked and the local produce was reasonably priced. Although the local town was only a 2 minute drive away we felt the main road was too dangerous to walk home at night as it was poorly lit and had no pavement, so a car was needed. We would definetly return to Villa Angevic again and would recommend it to family and friends. A fabulous holiday was had by all.

Disappointed - unclean and tired

Arrived to find kitchen not cleaned, highchair dirty and fridge full of half eaten rotting food, shower bracket in downstairs bathroon missing so all 6 adults had to use the one shower room upstairs - not a good start!!
description stated (now changed since we complained) slide and games room for kids - slide removed during winter and "promised" replacement not there - games room is the old indoor pool still to be converted to a games room - hence lose half the downstairs living area to a locked room.
complained to local rep who to be fair quickly sorted the cleaning out and promised the shower bracket would be fixed - left 13 days later for home still not fixed and rep never called back to see if everything OK

Will not book with these agents again.
Owner's Response: Due to the presssure of work at this time in the season the cleaners missed cleaning the kitchen. They apologised for this and immediately and went back and cleaned it to the clients satisfaction. Mistakes do happen. The broken shower bracket was agreed and reportedly was replaced by the owner the same day. If this was not the case why was the representative not advised so she could chase it up? The slide was removed as it was dangerous. Our website DESCRIPTION and the Holiday Rentals description did not state 'Games Room', this only showed in the property overview on the Solmar Villas website due to a system error, which has now been rectified. The old indoor pool is not going to be converted to a games room The ground floor of the villa is huge with the indoor pool area representing about 1/5 of the ground floor space and was not advertised as being included so nothing was 'lost.' We are not agents; We are tour operators with ATOL Licences and ABTA memberships - if any clients are unhappy with the standard of the villa or the conduct of our company they are able to make a complaint which would be fully investigated.
