Casa Sofia is a beautifully furnished large privately owned villa in the area of El Alcazar Moraira. Not be confused with Alcasar near Rusty's. It is ideal for family holidays as the accommodation is modern, bright and spacious. Approx 3 km from the beach, town centre and main shopping area. Set on a large corner plot with views across to the sea mountains and vineyards. South/South West facing. The villa comprises of three bedrooms, one bathroom. one shower room, large living area with sitting dining room. Good sized, fully equipped kitchen. Two barbecue terraces. Private pool in its own grounds. Sunbathing terrace, a garage and car parking. Satellite TV DED etc. Please contact me for more photos. Please see price notes for fixed euro prices. The town of Moraira was originally a fishing village. It still has fishing boats but is now enjoyed by many Europeans on holiday. It has kept it's charm and feeling of a village community. Set in a valley running down to the sea. There are no high rise building as the majority of properties are privately owned villas. There are two beaches. One is in the town and the other one is at El Portet which a short drive from the town centre. It is also possible to walk to El Portet. Club Nautica in the heart of the marina is lovely for a relaxing lunch while watching the boats. Alicante airport is under one hour away and Valencia one and a quarter hours. Mainly motorway driving to the villa. A car is required as there is no public transport near the villa. It is possible to hire a taxi from the town centre which is approx 10 minutes away. Car hire can be organised on requested. Calpe and Javea are 15/20 minutes and Benidorm 25 minutes from the property.

Notes: The villa has an entrance porch leading to the hallway. Large sitting/dining room with wood burning fire, Satellite TV, DVD etc. Door to the barbecue and eating terrace with stunning views of the valley vineyards and across to the sea. Separate kitchen with all mod cons, i.e. cooker, microwave, kettle toaster etc. also door to terrace. There is a washing machine. Three good size bedrooms, all tastefully furnished. A bathroom and shower room both having loo and washbasin. The master bedroom is on same level as the living area. Downstairs to the second bedroom having either a super king bed or two twins beds, which ever is prefered so ideal for another couple. Third bedroom sleeps three in single beds. It is possible to sleep another person on a sofa bed or a baby in a cot. Outside. Downstairs to the sunbathing terrace,swimming pool and garden. Shower. 6 Sunloungers Table and chairs. Single garage plus parking for two cars off road and also adjacent to the villa.

Things to do: Many good restaurants and bars. Prices vary according to the establishment. 7 Michelin guide rated and 2 Michelin star restaurants in the area. A couple of night clubs. Children's fair. Marina. Many supermarkets, banks and internet shops. Nice gift, clothes and shoe shops. The area is idea for families as the town is quite small, very clean and the Spanish are very friendly. There is a small fair open most of the year. In Benidorm there is the Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia Water Park and Mundomar sea life park. Benidorm Palace is worth a visit for an enjoyable night out. Train station in Teulada. The local wine from the Jalon Valley is an absolute must do. The nearest nine hole golf course is less than 10 minutes away. 8 other courses within an hours drive from the villa. There is a tennis club very near to the villa. Water bikes, pedalos etc. in the town centre and on the beach. International Go-Karting track but suitable for all levels.

Casa Sodia is a beautiful villa with spectacular views. The property is very clean and well maintained and is very well equipped. There are many good restaurants in the area and we also made use of the barbecue provided at the villa. It was wonderful sitting on the balcony with a good steak and a glass of wine watching a beautiful sunset. l. The young people in our party had a great time in the swimming pool. I would not hesitate to book the villa again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

A lovely villa, very well equipped, spotlessly clean, beautiful pool and fantastic views. I would highly recommend it. Booking was simple and friendly with lots of info provided.

Minor downsides worth knowing about: it is near the top of a very steep hill which means that you can't walk anywhere; the pool only gets sunshine from about noon; the pool is accessed by going out of the front door, around the villa and down steps which can be inconvenient if you forget something, plus you need to lock up behind you each time.

But you quickly get used to all of that and it didn't affect a great holiday in a lovely villa. We would definitely consider returning.

Gorgeous!

This villa was a lot more than we expected. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else after living here for a week as I might be let down with anything else. It was very quiet, large, clean, and were provided with everything we may have needed. The view was spectacular from both the balcony and the pool where we were treated to some beautiful sunsets on the horizon.

The villa representatives were extremely pleasant and made our booking and stay very enjoyable.

Make sure to explore every spot between Moraira and Calpe as you will find great food, bars and beaches. Especially notable was the Chez Flo, which has been there since the 1970's. Very nice people and a great night-time atmosphere. Also make sure to climb the Peñon De Ifach in Calpe if you are looking for some hiking adventures. If you have a car and want to make a little drive, the Fuentes De Algar (make sure to take your bathing suits) and the Castle of Guadalest are an excellent destination.

Highly recommended villa!

we had a super holiday. villa Sophia was beautiful the view was breath taking the children enjoyed the pool in fact they only got out to have food. our holiday was relaxing and we had some wonderful meals in moraira in fact we were spoilt for choice. best thing: about casa sofia was getting out of bed in the mornings and looking at that beautiful view. worst thing:coming home!!!
