Villa Ra - Enchanting Moraira Villa with Secluded Pool and Sea View

Villa Ra is set on the side of a green and peaceful valley with lovely sea and hill views in the quiet, exclusive San Jaime area, 5 mins walk from the Club de Golf Ifach with its tennis courts, bars, restaurant, pool and breath-taking views and just a few minutes drive from the lovely beaches, Marina and Old Town of Moraira itself. The very private pool (1m shallow end) is not overlooked and is particularly magical at night with pretty poolside and terrace lighting. There is an open-plan living area with American kitchen, a large glazed naya (sun room) and a sitting room (with Sky TV). Also on the ground floor is bedroom 3 with adjacent shower room. Upstairs are two further bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom has a balcony with those superb views over the sea, hills and pool terrace. Moraira is situated on the Costa Blanca, an hours drive from both Alicante and Valencia airports, between the larger centres of Javea and Calpe.     Special rates negotiable for longer than normal lets, and Winter rentals can be negotiated according to individual requirement
  • Please add £10 per person per week to the prices shown above in respect of laundry & services, plus a single cleaning charge of £50 per holiday (NOT per person). We find this the fairest way of charging in order to take account of both large and small parties.
    Our prices include gas, water, electricity and all linen excluding beach towels. If it would help save space in your cases we can provide beach towels at a small additional charge of £2 per person per holiday which merely covers the Laundry's charge to us. We can arrange a cot for a small hire charge if you need one.
    A basic Welcome Pack is supplied by our Local Agents who will be happy to help you with any queries that might arise during your holiday.
    A 25% deposit is required to secure your holiday reservation, with the balance payable in full 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date.
    A refundable Security Deposit of £150 is taken, but is paid in as late as possible and returned as soon as possible if all is well.
  • Changeover day is usually Saturday, but we may be able to be flexible on this outside High Season.
    Normal vacating time is 10.00 a.m. with access to the villa being after 4 p.m. on arrival day although we try to be helpful about this where possible

  • MASTER BEDROOM has Kingsize bed, very large wardrobe, small ante-room and door to Balcony with outdoor furniture ** UPSTAIRS TWIN is Spanish-style with wardrobe and mirror area ** DOWNSTAIRS TWIN is quite small , so may be better suited to children, but has full-size beds and fairly large wardrobe ** SITTING ROOM/BEDROOM 4 - The comfortable Double Sofa bed has its own bedding compartment and is very simple to operate (just push the back down!) so making it up each day is very easy. Alternatively the Sitting Room could become Bedroom 4 for the duration of your holiday, still leaving plenty of indoor and outdoor living space remaining. It would then be the largest bedroom . . with TV, double doors onto the Terrace, a sitting area . . and space for a cot if needed. We have arranged some hanging space and shelving for clothes, and the Shower Room and wardrobe in Bedroom 3 could easily be shared. (See Sofa bed photo) All bedrooms have either ceiling, wall-mounted or free-standing fans

Notes:

The villa has sunbeds and parasols, and electrically operated awnings shade the naya and adjoining terrace. Two sets of doors lead from the Naya onto both Pool Terrace and Dining Patio, with further double doors onto the Patio from the Sitting Room. With all doors open the villa benefits from cooling hillside breezes and, whilst bedrooms and shower room have mosquito netting, Villa Ra doesn't have much trouble with these nuisances. This is a walled villa with entry-phone system and burglar bars to most rooms. There is secure off-road parking for one vehicle plus street parking. A travel cot can be made available by prior arrangement for a small sum. The pool is 8m x 4m with a 1m shallow end and Roman steps. Washing machine, drying and ironing facilities, are housed in a separate utility room. As well as a CD Player and Sky Satellite TV with DVD Player, we have an extensive collection of DVD titles and CD albums for your enjoyment. Telephone could be arranged for longer lets.

Resort area:

Green countryside dotted with individual white-washed villas, shady pine woods, citrus groves and vine terracing make a pretty and relaxing setting away from the package tour crowds. Moraira is an attractive resort which retains its local charm. There are 2 safe, sandy beaches with beach-bars, and numerous little rocky coves up and down the coast. The town has grown from a small fishing village into an attractive holiday resort whilst managing to hold onto much of its authenticity . . . partly due to the busy local fish market with catches brought in fresh each day by the fishing fleet . . . if you like fish you will love Moraira! There is an abundance of restaurants, bars and smart little shops which crowd around the harbour and popular marina and then meander on down the coast road. San Jaime is on the borders of Moraira, and a little outside Town - but only a couple of minutes - and, whilst benefiting from a peaceful location, it also has the best Supermarket in the area.

Local attractions and activities:

The beautiful 9-hole Moraira golf-course with poolside bar/restaurant and magical views down to the sea is open to non-members and is within walking distance of the villa, with the popular 18-hole course at Jesus Pobre and the 9-hole course at Javea about 15 minutes away by car. Nearby are tennis courts, squash, water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding and go-kart racing. A little further away are the coastal resorts of Javea (15 mins. by car) with its beautiful sandy horse-shoe bay bordered by beach bars and restaurants, Denia with its long, sandy beach and pretty Calpe in the other direction. The local wine-making area of the Jalon valley, surrounded by mountains is also about 20 mins. drive away, and from here you can venture further into the spectacular mountain scenery - perfect for those who enjoy walking, cycling or climbing. Moraira is only 45 minutes drive from the livelier Benidorm which is close to Terra Mitica (a Disney style theme park) and Aqualandia Water Park

Suitability:

Pets will be considered on an individual basis - but we'll do our best to help. Steps from street level to pool terrace may make it unsuitable for those with impaired mobility. We are happy to accept CONSIDERATE smokers - but please take as much care as you would at home. The villa has radiators to all main areas, so is warm and comfortable in Winter, and the glazed naya makes the most of the sun. Unlike some seaside towns, most of Moraira and nearby Javea's bars and restaurants remain open all year round to welcome the visitors who enjoy the temperate climate of the Costa Blanca. Winter in this area is generally sunny and pleasant. There are a few days where the rain falls, helping to keep the countryside green and fertile, but there are also days where, despite the calendar, you may well be able to get those shorts out and even go for a swim.
