Ideal for Families:
Moraira has several beaches suitable for children with lovely children-friendly restaurants and bars nearby and right in the main town centre. On the outskirts of the town there is a Go Kart track which is a favourite for teenagers.
There is an old castle on the waterfront and a children's play area behind the main beach. There are many local festivals which are celebrated with a great deal of vigour... spectaular fireworks, costumed parades, etc
Within the town there is a local fun fair, ideal for young children.
Moraira - A Wonderful Place to Relax:
The old fishing village of Moraira has developed over time into a quiet, beautiful town with a wide range of excellent shops, restaurants, and bars. The area is subject to continued investment by the local authorities, which has led to a fantastic marina, waterfront, and beach area, and a delightful town centre which has retained its original character. The restaurants cater for a range of international cuisines, from traditional Spanish to Indian. There is a large local market every Friday with a fresh produce, clothes, local wines, and regional products.
The villa is in a very quiet area with little traffic - ideal for taking it easy in the sun.
Close to great attractions:
Within 10km is the seaside resort of Javea - a favourite for the Spanish as well as tourists. There is a large beach (Arenal) with seafront bars and restaurants. The old town of Javea also has a weekly market and some excellent restaurants on the waterfront.
The towns of Calpe and Altea and are also a short drive away, again with large local markets and both are renowned for their fresh seafood restaurants. Inland, there are many traditional Spanish villages and towns to explore.
Just over 30 minutes away towards Benidorm is the renowned Terra Mitica theme park which features the largest wooden roller cosater in Europe and many other rides similar to Thorpe Park or Alton Towers. This is ideal for older kids (and grown ups!). There is Terra Natura (a themed wildlife park) on the same campus which is a great day out for families with younger children. Close to these attractions is the Aqualandia water park.
