This superb, fully restored finca is set in two acres of orange groves with a back drop of mountains to Jalon Valley and stunning views. totally private, the Finca consists of two levels. Upper level has double bedroom with patio doors to spacious sun terrace, twin bedroom , separate shower room. Lower level is open plan with fully equipped kitchen, lounge / dining area with English satellite TV, Video, DVD, CD/ tape player, Stone fireplace with log burner ( winter lets )comfy seating . From the lounge the front door leads out to covered terrace with table chairs and loungers. 9 x 9 mtre pool with integral steps, outside shower and spacious pool terrace with further sun loungers and tables. Built in barbeque for that ' al Fresco dining '.Totally fenced in with gate, child friendly. This villa was small compact with lovely pool area. The pool made up for small and baisc facilities within the villa. It was secluded and quiet although for shops and even a walk to village , was too far from anywhere without car. Great restaurant round the corner though. The area itself was spectacular for being central to mountains and beaches, all within 20-30 mins in car.

On arrival at Villa Liz we were met by Gill who quickly showed us round the villa and then left us to settle in.

We found the villa to be very clean and tidy and quite cool inside considering the outside temperature of 36 degrees.

The villa, although not totally isolated was very private. It is accessed by good road links although a car is essential.
The coast and many attractions are within easy reach and for those wanting a quieter time traditional Spanish villages and towns are just as close.

The welcome pack we received on arrival had all the necessary items and a bit more.

The pool was clean and a decent size, suitable for young children and teenagers alike.

In all we found the villa suitable for our needs, 2 adults and 2 teenagers wanting a relaxing break with the opportunity to visit many contrasting places such as Valencia and Guadalest.

At the end of July there are festivals going on in just about every town and vilage in the area.

We stayed in Villa Liz 6th -13th June 2009 and what can I say it was brilliant!
Its in an excellent location just a short drive from the beach and the nearby towns.
If you want to make the most of the villa facilities though, you wont miss out. The pool is a good size and the villa and the pool area are kept immaculately clean and tidy, Its very private and has a nice terrace for eating out and shady areas for escaping the sun.The area it is situated in is very picturesque, lovely for watching the sun setting over it with a glass of wine or two! and the area is good for exploring if you like to get your walking shoes on or get in the car and see the sights. Also if you don't fancy cooking there is a lovely restaurant within walking distance and well worth a couple of nights out, friendly staff and good food.
loved the villa itself aswell, nicely decorated well kept and many thanks to Gill and her team for a very warm welcome
All in all we loved this holiday and are booking up for 2010

Villa Liz - Jalon Valley

My partner and I had a lovely holiday staying at Villa Liz in the Jalon Valley. From the outset our holiday was made enjoyable and stress free with great directions, welcome food pack and a very informative folder covering local information and great places to eat. The villa itself was spotless and there was plenty of room for the two of us and could easily have slept more. The valley and surrounding villages were lovely and very welcoming and friendly with great shops and places to eat. The villa is very peaceful with a lovely pool area and we would recommend this to friends and family. We hope to go back in the future for a nice relaxing week in the Spanish countryside.
