Our detached villa with its own pool is situated on the prestigious Monte Pego development in a peaceful mountainside location only 15 minutes drive from the lively fishing port of Denia. It has been furnished in a contemporary style to combine modern furnishings with the high-beamed ceilings and wrought iron features of a traditional Spanish villa. Within a short drive there are spectacular white sandy beaches, internationally acclaimed golf courses, a great safari park and within 45 minutes drive, the international Theme Park, Terra Mitica. Our villa is called 'Casita de las Estrellas' - Little House of the Stars. This romantic name will be appreciated when you sit on the terrace, sip a glass of wine and view the night sky on a warm summer's evening whilst dining ‘al fresco’. Alternatively take a stroll to the local restaurant or a short drive inland for traditional village restaurants and coastward for lively bars and nightlife.

There are fabulous sandy beaches (10 mins) and a breath-taking drive inland through the mountains will bring you to the lush Jalon Valley where you can visit a 'Bodega' to sample the rich local wines. We recommend a visit to the mountain village of Guadalest and a bathe in the nearby waterfalls. The El Vergel safari park is only a five minute drive away and the internationally acclaimed theme park, Terra Mitica only 45mins away. Shop in the local towns & markets of Pego, Denia & Javea for fashion & leather goods, then enjoy tapas in some of the best bars in Spain. Valencia, hosting the 2007 Americas Cup is a 50 minute drive away and is one of Spain's premier cities to visit.

Our Favourite Villa

Our favourite villa is a beautiful, well equipped modern 3 bed roomed villa situated in a quiet elevated position with lovely views, located some 55 minutes from Alicante. It is well laid out, clean and nicely decorated with a good sized pool and BBQ point. All the facilities you could possibly need are there for a pleasant and relaxing holiday. A single storey villa it is ideal for both young families and those of a more relaxed disposition.

Whilst there is a very friendly bar/restaurant some 5 minutes walk from the villa a car is essential due to the lack of local shops, and the distance from the beautiful sandy beaches – 10/15 minutes away.. However, the nearest town is only 7/8 minutes away by car and a number of really nice restaurants are readily accessible both in the local villages and toward the coast.

We would thoroughly recommend this charming holiday villa.
