An attractive modern south facing 3 bedroom villa directly overlooking the communal pool. Accommodation consists of kitchen, dining and lounge area, large front verandah, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and private solarium. The American style kitchen is fully equipped with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster plus all the utensils you can think of. A washing machine and ironing facilities are provided (if you must indulge). In the lounge is the TV, DVD/VCR player and CD/radio. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one on each side of the bathroom, with a further twin room upstairs with a separate shower room. The layout offers privacy for couples holidaying together or for families with older children. If required the twin beds can be converted into a double. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. A private solarium situated on the first floor includes all items required for relaxing in the sun or for alfresco meals & BBQ’s.

Villamartin is an attractive area of private villas & apartments, with superb restaurants & bars. Within a short stroll from our villa are shops, supermarket, restaurants & banks, including the ever popular Villamartin Plaza, with its 1st class restaurants and bars. Nearby is Torreveija with its promenade, market, bars & night life. The local blue flag beach of La Zenia, 10 mins drive away, has a large bar/restaurant & beach bars catering for all tastes. Ideal for children, La Zenia beach is one of a series of beautiful & really safe beaches situated on the local coast, most of which are within walking distance of one another. Beaches at La Marina & Guadamar are also excellent but with a different flavour. A short drive to the north is a typical Spanish town, San Miguel, with its large market on Wednesdays. Exploring: the Spanish towns of Murcia, Orihuela, Cartegena and Alicante are well worth a visit; the Mar Menor (superb beaches)and La Manga also makes an interesting day trip.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A non-refundable deposit of £75.00 per week/part-week is required on booking to secure your dates with the balance becoming due six weeks prior to departure. We are happy to accommodate stays of less than 7 days or more than 14 days (although 4 days is the minimum let) and these are priced at pro-rata rates. If the booking is made less than four weeks prior to departure then payment is required in full. The prices quoted are per week and not per person.
    On arrival you will be greeted by our representative who will hand over the keys. We ask that you give our representative 150 euros - 100 euros will be returned to you when you hand back the keys and the remaining 50 euros is the non-refundable charge for cleaning and laundry of the linen used. Normal check out is by 10.00am and arrival after 13.00pm but we can be flexible subject to availability. Please note that maid service is only on exit.

Notes: The accommodation is decorated to give a light and airy feel with a slightly Spanish flavour. The solarium provides for those balmy evening BBQ's and get togethers. The large front verandah provides an additional space for other activities such as soaking up the sun especially during the winter months . The communual pool is virtually opposite and is especially suitable for children - being gated for safety. Your own pool key is provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Shopping and Markets: There is a very good small supermarket in the Plaza close by.The nearest larger supermarket - 'Super Value' is less than 5 mins drive away at Los Dolses . Within another 5 mins drive there are many more to choose from including Lidl and Consum to name but two. Local Spanish markets can be found on Saturdays at Playa Flamenca and San Miguel on Wednesdays. Further afield there are markets at Torrevieja on Fridays, and San Pedro on Mondays. Everything is sold from bread, cakes and vegetables to towels, linen, shoes, clothes, rugs, ornaments, etc. etc. The list is endless!

Climate : Between the months of November and March the rainfall is very low. Clear blue skies and temperatures in the low 20's can be expected. (T-shirts and shorts are often the order of the day). According to the World Health Organisation this area of the Costa Blanca has got the healthiest climate in Europe.

Local Attractions: Tennis Courts - Villamartin Golf Club and Course has tennis courts and a swimming pool which can be used for a small charge. Boat Trips - Several boat trips are available from Torrevieja Fishing Port. There is an all day trip to the beautiful, unspoilt, Isla Tabarca (Tabarca Island), departing at 11.00hrs and returning 18.00hrs (every day except Friday). The crossing time is approximately 40 minutes. This departs from Torrevieja Marina, in the centre of town, opposite the fountain. Also there are 'coastline' boat trips lasting only 30 minutes, if you just want to get a view of Torrevieja from the sea. They depart at 11.30, 12.30, and 13.30 everyday, from Torrevieja Fishing Port. Golf courses in the area -There are 5 Spanish golf courses in the area, Villamartin Golf Course, Las Ramblas Golf, Campoamor Golf Course & La Finca plus Altorreal in Murcia.

Lovely holiday home from home

We have used this villa twice with our young daughter (aged 3) once in September 08 and once in June 09. We enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable stay both times. It is spacious and very well appointed with everything we needed. The pool area is so pretty and the poolside elephant a huge hit with our little one. The nearby beach at La Zenia is clean, has a beach bar and huge cafe - we spent many days there playing in the sand and sea. We found Villa Martin Piazza lovely for supper - a huge selection of restaurants and bars with a buzzing atmosphere in the evening with candllit tables on 3 floors surrounding the square. That said, BBQ supper with a bottle of wine sat on the roof terrace of the villa was equally enjoyable. I would reccomend this Villa to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing time within easy reach of great restaurants and beaches.
